Sr. Mary Celine Rachwal, age 89 of the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 in UPMC McKeesport.  Born January 19, 1931 in Niebocko, Poland, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Kopczk) Rachwal.  A Professed Sister of the Divine Redeemer for 68 years, Sr. Celine received her BSE in elementary education and business education from Duquesne University, her MA in Administration and Secondary Education from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and her Magistrere in French Language and Civilization from the Sorbonne, Paris.   She worked as a high school French teacher for many years and served as treasurer for the Sisters of the Divine Redeemer.  In her spare time, Sr. Celine loved to garden, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed crocheting.   Sr. Celine is survived by her Sisters of the Divine Redeemer; her sister-in-law Ruth Rachwal; her nieces Valerie (Robert) Bolhouse, Diana (Gary) Skalski, Jenny (Walter) Jominy, and Cyndi (Philip) Roberge; and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Helen Coll and Sr. M. Adrienne Rachwal, S.D.R. and her brother Matthew Rachwal.

Wilma Youhouse Rasco passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 95. Born to the late John and Anna (Lazar) Youhouse on December 1, 1924, she was predeceased by her husband Michael, brother John Youhouse and sister Mildred Gaca.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

     Aunt Wilma will be lovingly remembered, by all who knew her, as a kind, easily pleased and appreciative person and she will be missed by all.  Visitation will take place at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 412-466-3300, on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. and Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10-10:30 a.m. followed by a Blessing Service at 10:30 a.m. 

     A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

     Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish or the charity of one’s choice.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to 25 people in the funeral home at one time and masks must be worn

Marguerite M. (Snyder) Oeler age 94, of West Mifflin, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on October 2, 2020, at Paramount Senior Living in Bethel Park. Born on May 14, 1926, in West Mifflin, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Andres) Snyder. She was a former employee of U.S. Steel-Duquesne Works, where she worked as a stenographer, a member of St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, and a lifetime member of the former St. Joseph Christian Mothers & Guild.  She enjoyed crocheting and baking and was lovingly called the “operations manager” of the entire Oeler family. Beloved wife of 67 years to the late Thomas A. Oeler, she is survived by children Marguerite Jean “Peggy” (Thomas) Smith of West Mifflin, Thomas Paul (Crystal) Oeler of Spotsylvania, VA, Karl G. (Cindy) Oeler of Tampa, FL, Yvonne L. (Gary Foore) Ryder of West Mifflin, John Daniel (Patricia) Oeler of Elizabeth and Matthew Leo (Lisa) Oeler of Jefferson Hills; 29 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren and Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Virginia Beveridge, Ruth A. Oxford, Elizabeth Jean “Betty Jean” Judy, Anna Marie Donaldson, Regis B. Snyder, Bernadette Zabelsky, Kenneth L. Snyder and Leo W. Snyder. She is survived by her husband Dave Savage of North Huntingdon, her three children Kelli Pastore of Glassport, Kevin Savage of New Stanton, and David Savage of Port Vue, her mother Edith Filius Moore of North Huntingdon, her sister Denise Zetler of North Huntingdon, brother Joe Moore of Irwin, and her grandchildren Niya, Raylynn, Serenity, Saveana, Santino, Alaya, Harley, and Misha, and another one on the way, loving dog Jax, and many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father Bruce K. Moore. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning. Yvonne has a lot of people who loves her. She was a dear friend to all. Family and friends will be received on Sunday October 4th from 2-6 at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. Bernadowski, 73, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born December 29, 1946 in McKeesport, a daughter of Sarah (Ferrari) Allen and the late Robert Allen.  Prior to her retirement, Bonnie was a clerk for Rite Aid Pharmacy and was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she dearly loved, and watching Jeopardy.  She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John J. Bernadowski; son, Brian Bernadowski and his wife, Carriann; daughters, Terri Kundrat and her husband, George, Melanie Daugherty and her husband, Larry; brother, Dean (Pam) Allen, Bob (Bonnie) Allen; grandchildren, Megan, Max and Liam.  Services are private for family members only.  Arrangements were made by the James W. Raymond F. Croushore, age 73, of North Versailles, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. He was born March 14, 1947 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Clarence and Violet Croushore.

He was a past member of the United Methodist Church in East McKeesport where he served as a treasurer. He worked as a controller for H.J. Heinz, Isaly’s, Garfield Jubilee, Gregg Services and Electric M&R before retiring.

He always made an effort to remain close with friends and past coworkers and especially loved collecting model trains.

Davida was an exceptional woman who dedicated her life putting God first and going out of her to help others in need. She will be remembered as a gentle, kind, warmhearted genuine person.
