Lawrence L. Curran, 73, of North Huntingdon Twp. died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Margery A (Timko) Curran; daughter, Valery L McCann; son, Ryan D Curran (Rita); grandsons, William, Colin, and Trevor; and brother Charles R Curran Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother, Irene; sister, Patricia Galata.  He was born Oct. 5, 1946 in Homestead, PA and was a 1964 graduate of West Mifflin North High School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart.

Larry worked for United States Steel in Homestead for 21 years and later as a Letter Carrier in McKeesport for 24 years. He served as Executive Vice President of the NALC Branch 332.

Norma J. Tyskiewicz, of Glassport, died peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.  She is the daughter of the late William and Bessie Mae (Fine) McCorkle and beloved wife of the late Stanley Tyskiewicz.  Norma is survived by her children Lynda (Michael) Whitcomb, Kathy Catalina, Norma Davis, Stanley Tyskiewicz and Elaina (Gregory) Skiba; grandchildren Ed Catalina, Carrie Scott, Megan Skiba and Emily Skiba and 5 great grandchildren. 
 
Norma enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved endlessly.  She enjoyed cooking and baking and waiting for spring so she could sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds.  She spent years painting pictures and doing ceramics , for friends and family.  She loved winter so she could watch her favorite sports teams, especially the Pittsburgh Penguins.  She will be missed by many.

Anna T. Milas, age 101 of Jefferson Hills, passed away comfortably in her sleep on Saturday, September 26, 2020.  she was born April 17, 1919 in Clairton and lived a long and happy life.  Anna was preceded in death by her parents the late Michael and Helen (Unitas) Kojundzic; her husband of 36 years, Anthony W. Milas, who passed away September 7, 1981; and her son James (daughter-in-law Lynn) Milas, who passed away unexpectedly September 2, 2020.  Anna worked in the payroll department at KMart, retiring in 1989, and was known for making friendships that lasted throughout her life.  She was an active member of and volunteer at St. Thomas a'Becket Church in Jefferson Hills.  Anna will be remembered by all who knew her to be kind, generous, and caring.  She is survived by her sons Eugene M. (Carole) Milas of McMurray and Leonard (Lenna) Milas of Bethel Park; her seven grandchildren Maura (Marc) Derstein of Telford, Andrea B. (Michael) Mikes, Jamie Milas of Pisa, Italy, Patrick (Megan) Milas of Brentwood, Teresa (Andrew) Morrison of Reston, VA, Greg (fiancee' Lacey) Milas, and Mark Milas of Hershey; great-grandchildren Calvin, Tyler, Vivian, Lilia, Camille, and Ainsley; her brother Michael (Betty) Kojundzic of Brooksville, FL; her sister-in-law Norma Milas of New Eagle; and also nieces and nephews.

William D. “Bill” Oliver, 75, of North Versailles, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at home.  Born in McKeesport, May 27, 1945, he was the son of the late Hugh David and Margaret Macey Oliver.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Oliver and Richard Oliver.  He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Hess Oliver; 2 sons, William C. (Kim) Oliver of North Versailles and Jeffrey D. (Melissa) Oliver of Penn Hills; 3 granddaughters, Kaitlin Oliver, Eliana Oliver, and Dakota Toughlinn; and his sister, Mary Louise Trapana of North Huntingdon.  Mr. Oliver was a US Army veteran, a 53 year member of the Smedley D. Butler Post #701, American Legion, and was a graduate of McKeesport High School.  He was a courier for Family Home Health, a refueler at the Allegheny County Airport, and worked at Lea’s Flower Shop in East McKeesport.  Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132 on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM.  Interment with military honors will follow on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 12:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

John O. Collins, Jr. age 77, of West Mifflin, died September 23, 2020, at home.  Born March 28, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John O. Collins, Sr. and Anna (Phlor) Collins and the husband of Barbara Collins.  John worked as a machinist starting out at Heppenstall  Steel and retiring from Jackson Gear Company in Etna.  He enjoyed yearly trips to Las Vegas with Barbara and watching and feeding the birds outside his home.  He was a life long Steeler fan who listened to Classic Rock and Classical music.  He leaves a legacy of taking pride in your work and always giving it your best effort.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, John and James Collins, and sister, Beverly Weimskirch.  Services will be private.  Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com

Dale L. (Curry) Keleman, age 90, of Elrama, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at home. She was a member of the Free Hungarian Reformed Church in McKeesport, a former member of the Elrama Volunter Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and she loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. Born October 14, 1929 in West Elizabeth, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Alice (Fleegle) Curry, and wife of the late Joseph S. Keleman. She is survived by daughter, Karen Keleman of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Nathan D. Tkach of Elrama and Jarrod (Nicole Firda) Tkach of Monongahela; great-grandchildren, Alexis Tkach of Elrama and Mischa "Nugget" Firda of Monongahela; son-in-law, Nick (Linda) Tkach of Elrama; sister, Lois Curry of Monongahela; caregiver, Gia (Sue) Gambino; fur babies, Hank and SMO; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy L. Tkach, and siblings, Carl, Alan and Jimmy Curry and Elaine Daddario. There is no visitation or service. Jeffrey Leon Cowoski, age 60, of Turtle Creek, died September 21, 2020, at home. Born November 11, 1959, in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of Betty (Holtzer) Powell.
Jeff (Murdock) worked at Goodwill of North Versailles in the maintenance department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and socializing with friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Patricia (Vince) Kadlubek, Thomas McNair, Vicki Schantz, Wendy Rees and Betty Jean Cooksey (Don); and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, James McNair.

Edward Fredrick Unterseher

Edward Fredrick Unterseher, 78, of North Versailles (formerly of Duquesne), passed away peacefully at home on September 24 , 2020. He is the son of the late Edward and Ariona Wagner Unterseher. He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Paul) Kogut; son Edward (Gale) Unterseher; siblings Kathleen (Stanley) Kilsdonk, Ellis (Helen) Unterseher, and Norman (Janet) Unterseher; step-grandson Ricky (Krystal) Martinelli and great-grandson Nicholas.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Theresa, and brothers LeRoy and Dallas. Edward was born Dec. 27, 1941 in Hazen, North Dakota, raised in Fairview, Montana, and graduated from Fairview High School in 1960. He served in the Navy aboard the USS Great Sitkin, an ammunition carrier, from Jan. 1961 to Jan. 1965. He often recalled his service in the Mediterranean Sea region. Edward met the love of his life, Theresa Loveland, on a blind date while he was on leave. They married in 1967 and settled in Duquesne. Edward was a member of St. Joseph Church in Duquesne and worked for Westinghouse Air Brake Co. for more than 30 years. Edward loved visiting family, taking road trips around the country, fishing, and watching horse racing and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Friends receieved Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne. Funeral blessing will be held Wednesday 11am at the funeral home. Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.

Violet Mary Molinari Kovtun 90 of Glassport formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her home. She was born in Glassport on January 11th, 1930 to the late Louis and Louise Scapaletti Molinari. Violet was the loving wife of 43 years to the late George D. Kovtun. She is survived by her son and daughters George (Kathleen) Kovtun of Clairton, Jonelle Barbati of Oakmont, Candice DiLembo of Squirrel Hill, and Jessa Kovtun of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Grandchildren Melissa, Melonie, Amanda, Robert, Juliet, Louis, Mia. Great-Grandchildren Holly, Maya, Jaxson, Milena, Rocco, Robert, Paul, Louis and James, and great-great-grandchild Marley. Surviving brother John Molinari of McKeesport. She is preceded in death by her brothers Dominic and Louis Molinari and sister Margaret Denicola. She was a member of Queen of the Rosary Church where she was also part of the choir. She enjoyed square dancing and gardening. She loved flowers. Family and friends will be received on Sunday September 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 at E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045.
