Lance E. Nelson, 54, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.  He was born July 17, 1966 in Jeannette, a son of the late Stanley and Betty (Morgan) Nelson.  Lance was a systems analyst for UPMC and a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School Class of 1984 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Cal U.  He enjoyed hiking, reading and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joshua David Nelson; brother-in-law, Drew Horwat.  He is survived by his wife, Melissa Burkhart Nelson; son, Matthew Nelson; daughter, Hannah Nelson; sister, Leslie Horwat; his beloved pup, Loki, and his furry feline Nessie.  Arrangements made by the James W. James Robert “West Virginia Jim” Pusey Sr. died Friday, September 18, 2020.

Jim was a lifelong member of West Wilmerding Fire Dept, Station 211, a proud Veteran of the United States Army, and a member of the Sub Alpine Society in Turtle Creek. He was an avid lover of Jeeps, Nascar, his home State of West Virginia and the Mountaineers. Above all, Jim loved his kids and grandkids.

Jim is survived by Sherry Russell, his loving girlfriend of 21 years. Beloved father of Melvin (Desiree) Saula, Michele (Mike) Brancato, JR (Lindsay) Pusey, Merle “Bud” (Amy) Pusey. Adoring grandfather of Alyssa Saula, Alyza Pusey, Marie Brancato, Tessa Pusey, Santino Hartford, Maddy Machtley and Brianna Hartford, great grandfather of Cora Smith and Mason James Giglio. He is also survived by his brother, Sam (BJ) Pusey, Tim Pusey, Mike (Naomi) Pusey, Mark (April) Pusey; sisters, Tina (Larry) Windon, Susan Reed, Tammy Evans, the mother of his children, Kathleen (nee Saula) Hynes, many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Florence K. Puskaric, age 90 of Marshall, MI and formerly of McKeesport, passed away on September 17, 2020 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.   Born March 14, 1930 in Munhall, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Warsic) Barsic.  She was employed as a security officer for ten years at the Joseph Hornes Department Store in Monroeville.  Florence came to Michigan in 2004 from McKeesport.  She was a home maker that  loved to shop, cook, and bake.  Florence was proud to be crowned Miss Pittsburgh in 1947.  She was united in marriage on May 15, 1949 to Joseph Puskaric, and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2003.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers John, Frank, and George.  She is survived by her loving daughter Kathy Puskaric of Marshall and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will be remembered as a loving brother, brother-in-law, and uncle.  Daniel was survived by his daughter Lindsay (Warnick) Riddle of Pittsburgh; his granddaughter Everly Grace; siblings Harry Warnick of Clairton, Debbie (the late William) Butler of White Oak, Linda (Lee) Malloy of West Mifflin, Brenda (Mark) Webster of Liberty Boro, Cindy Nickolich of Glassport, and Ronald Warnick of McKeesport; and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a member of St Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon PA and formerly a member of the Visitation Church and men’s rosary society, Mt Pleasant PA. He was a devout Catholic and hardworking family man who loved to tinker around the house. His family and faith were very important to Frank and he was always there to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all.

Friends and family will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike North Huntingdon, PA on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be at the Visitation Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 740 Walnut Street, Mt Pleasant, PA on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 11am followed by an intermittent burial service at the Visitation Cemetery in Mt Pleasant, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to Tunnel to Towers or Redstone At Home Hospice.

She was born in McKeesport on May 2nd, 1961 to the late Joseph Diaz and Dorothy Trainer Diaz. Rochelle is survived by her three children, Steven Cavendish of McKeesport, Michael Cavendish, of West Homestead, and Charles (Khara) Cavendish, of New Franklin, OH, grandchildren, Kristian, Alexia, Skylie, and two other grandchildren, sisters Patricia Diaz of Clairton, Mary Nesky of Clairton, and Rose Polowsky of Clairton, and brothers Joseph (Darla) Diaz of Munhall, and Michael Diaz of Clairton. She was preceded in death by her sister Donna Stacey. Rochelle enjoyed crochet and quilting and making art. She was a home maker. Turley, 82, of North Versailles, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Manor Care of Monroeville.  She was born December 13, 1937 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Augustus and Nellie (Churchfield) Frankford.  Prior to her retirement, Elizabeth was a secretary for Westinghouse Electric and later a bookkeeper for the Department of Aging.  She was member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and playing games on her Kindle, crocheting and was an avid Pittsburgh sports team fan.  In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, William Turley; brother, Francis Frankford; and sister, Sheila Kelley.  She is survived by her son, William (Kathi Carr) Turley; daughters, Paula (David) Patterson, Patricia (Reggie) Tabb, Janet (Tom Labuda) Bacco; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Carrie, Mark, Alexis, Allyson, Amanda, Nicholas, Nathan, Aidan and Declan.  Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at the James W.  Anna Mae Oleyar, age 86, of Port Vue, died September 14, 2020, at Senior Care Plaza.  Born November 8, 1933, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Margaret (Beres) Seibert and the wife of the late James A. Oleyar.  Anna Mae worked for G.C. Murphy in their office, Johnston the Florist and Yarborough Development in her later years.  She enjoyed bowling and was active in numerous local leagues throughout the years.  She loved to cook and was a wonderful baker. People still miss her delicious stuffed cabbage, nut rolls, cakes, and cookies.  She was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church.
