Theresa Henninger, age 95 of North Huntingdon and a resident of Concordia at Weatherwood, died of natural causes on Friday, October 24, 2025, in Greensburg. Pennsylvania, surrounded by friends and family. Theresa was born January 28, 1930, in Bangor, Maine, one of 11 children, a daughter of the late William Jasper Ross and Annie Ryder Ross; Theresa married Wayne Henninger, the love of her life, in 1949, moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had four children. The family eventually moved to North Huntingdon, PA where Theresa became an active member of the community, and a founding member of St. Elizabeth Church serving in the Christian Mothers where she sang in the funeral choir, she was a Band Parent for the Norwin High School Band and as a Poll Worker during elections for many years. Theresa enjoyed traveling, crafting, candy-making, but mostly spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne in 2009 and 9 of her siblings. She is survived by her four children, Richard (Martha) Henninger, Patricia (Gregory) Bazanos, Kathy (Mike Venuto, deceased), and David (Wendi) Henninger, Plus her 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and her brother Earl Ross. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Tuesday from 9 AM to 10 AM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon on Tuesday at 10 AM.
