Mary Jo Wargo, 70, of Wilkins Township, formerly of White Oak, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 3, 1951 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Lois M. (Mains) Logan of McKeesport and the late Harry H. Logan. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Forest Hills and was a former member of St. Pius V and Corpus Christi Parishes in McKeesport. She was also a member of  Ladies of Charity. Mary Jo was a retired Registered Nurse, most years spent in OB, CCU and Nursing Case Management. She was a graduate of Carlow University.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Thomas Wargo, sons, Andrew Wargo of Wilkins Township, Stephen Wargo of New York City, and Joseph (Kristen Behrens) Wargo of Ashland, MA, her precious grandchildren, Ted and Mary Wargo of Ashland, MA, sister, Linda (Raymond) Wikowski of White Oak, and brother, James (Jeffrey) Logan of McKeesport, nieces, nephews and her loving friends and extended family (You know who you are). She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Wargo who passed away February 18, 2021. Friends are welcome Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 4-7 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Albert the Great Church - Blessed Trinity Parish, 3198 Schieck St. Baldwin. (Everyone please meet at the church). The Rev. Stephen Kresak and The Rev. Thomas Burke will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Jo's memory to Merakey Allegheny Valley School, 1996 Ewings Mill Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
