She was a retired computer programmer at Mellon Bank, in Pittsburgh.  Born May 17, 1946 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Rea) Davis. She is survived by her children Kimberly Adams of Clairton, William (Kimberly) Adams of Coal Center, Timothy Adams of Clairton, and David (Michelle) Adams of Elizabeth; grandchildren Courtney, Jaden, Cory, McKeylee, and Marissa Adams and Christie Stapf; great-grandchildren Cameron Saunders and Weston Bauer; siblings Georgene Stapf, Shiela Clien, Robert Abraham, and Edward Davis Jr.; also nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Abraham.

Judi A. Sandmeyer, of Warminster, died on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 70.

Daughter of the late Paul C. and Ellen Barber Sandmeyer, formerly of New Hope, where she spent her younger years, she was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Elgin Academy, in Elgin, Illinois.

Judi was a resident of Warminster for the past 20 years and was employed at a pharmacy in Hatboro.  Because of her talent and creativity, art became a hobby and she did free-lance designs.

Judi will be missed for her loving and creative ways.  Also missing her and looking for her are her canine companions, Lali and Bennie.

She was a retired butcher at Marraccini Supermarket in Elizabeth, a former butcher at Foodland in Clairton, a former head cook at Royak’s Diner in Dravosburg and a seasonal employee at Kaufmann’s in Century III Mall. A member of St. Michael Parish in Elizabeth Twp., she was extremely active with the parish fish fry and had a passion for cooking and baking. She was also a former member of St. Clare of Assisi parish in Clairton.

Sophia E. (Bialon) Churley, age 96, of North Versailles, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019. She was born May 11, 1923 in Bovard, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Bialon. She was a long-time member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. During World War II she worked as a mechanist at the Chicago Latrobe Plant in Chicago, Illinois. Later in life she helped with the Mercy Sisters of Pittsburgh at St. Xavier in Latrobe. She always enjoyed playing cards and bingo with the Senior Citizens group in North Versailles. She is survived by her children Scilene Niki (Sam) Mraz of Latrobe and Bernard Churley of Squirrel Hill; Grandchildren Carolyn and David (Alexis); sister Elizabeth (James) Annavella; and nieces and nephews especially Trish Porchiron and Daniel Pushic because of the time spent together.
