Kay E. Beech, age 73 of Jeannette, passed away on October 7, 2025. She was born on July 13, 1952 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Raymond and Gail Rauthey. Kay was a dedicated member of the Lighthouse of Hope Church in Greensburg, where she sang in the choir. She was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School, and she earned a two-year degree in nursing from Westmoreland County Community College. Kay went on to fulfill a career as a medical assistant at Medical Wellness Associates in Jeannette. She was known to be a people-person, and she liked to cook in her free time. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by one brother, Keith Rauthey. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Bradley C. Beech. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 AM with interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
