Stanley "Bud" Metikosh, Jr., age 86 of Clairton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Born September 30, 1939 in Midland, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley and Martha (Belich) Metikosh. A retired meatcutter for Marraccini's Supermarket in Clairton, a US Army Veteran, and member of the former St. Mary's Serbian Orthodox Church in Clairton, Bud loved to camp and fish, especially at Pymatuning. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo (Carbone) Metikosh; his children Mark (Patty) Metikosh of Jefferson Hills, Michael (Jennifer) Metikosh of Belle Vernon, and Mandy Hilling of Belle Vernon; his stepchildren Joseph (Karen) DeSimone of Phillipsburg and Michael DeSimone of Shaler; his grandchildren Lauren, Delaney, Chad, McKenna, Jake, Maren, Liam, Nick, and Ian; his brother Michael (Debbie) Metikosh of Bybee, TN; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his son Chad Metikosh and his sister Catherine Balint.

Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700), on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Pomen Service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 10 AM in the funeral home with procession and burial to follow to Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
