Adam James Weyer, 38, of North Versailles, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 2, 2025.  He was born April 6, 1987 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Kevin James and Roberta Jean (Jones) Weyer.  Adam attended Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak. He had previously worked for Vista Metals in Elizabeth Township, the former Deli-Icious Catering in Wilmerding, and DoorDash and UberEats.  He enjoyed fishing and camping in Slippery Rock Campground, where his favorite fishing spot was at Slippery Rock Creek.  He liked playing video games, especially his Nintendo Switch.  From a very young age, Adam was fascinated with washing machines, as a child he would go on many trips to Sears with his late Aunt Peg to see the “Kennymore” and loved to watch the agitation work.  He loved his mother’s French Creme that was used for making lady locks. He loved his cats, as well. His favorite time of year was Halloween, because he loved the spookiness and enjoyed celebrating, and decorating.  He had the gift of GAB and always wanted to make everyone around him happy.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Theresa Louise (Sherer) Weyer; sister, Ashley (Jerome) Alvarez; nieces and nephews, Riley and Sophia Alvarez and Nicholas and Taylor Sherer; Father-in-law, William Sherer; brother-in-law, Nick Sherer; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James N. Weyer, Jr. and Helen M. Weyer; maternal grandparents, Carl W. and M. Jean Jones; and his beloved, Aunt Peg.  Friends are welcome on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.,1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J.
