Larry J. (Garuccio) Garuch, age 80 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.  Born August 24, 1939 in Carolina, WV, he was the son of the late Joseph (Garuccio) Garuch and Catherine (Lari) Garuch.  A member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, Larry was a graduate of McKeesport High School and retired after thirty years of service at US Steel Clairton Coke Works.  At home, he always made everyone feel welcome and loved to sit on his patio and spend time with his family: the pride and joy of his life.  He also took pride in his beautiful yard and spotless cars and loved to go to the casino and horse races.  Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Karen (Sammartin) Garuch; his daughters Annette (Charles) Greer of Jefferson Hills and Catherine Dever of Brigantine, NJ; his grandchildren Nicholas (Amanda) Greer of North Huntingdon and Gina Marie Greer of Jefferson Hills; his sister Norma Arabia of Shelby Twp., MI; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister Theresa Scappetura.

Andrea Claire Matason Sopira, age 46, of North Versailles, PA, was born on April 18, 1973 at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh and passed away peacefully on April 13, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a multiple year battle with recurring attacks of pancreatitis.

She was the beloved daughter of Richard and Sandra Matason of North Huntingdon, PA, loving sister of Alexa Matason Spriggs of Cumberland Maryland, goddaughter of her aunt and godmother Patricia Legge, and godmother to her beautiful niece, Corrine Elizabeth Spriggs. She is also survived by her grandmother, Josie Donell, age 102, four aunts, five uncles, ten cousins, seven nieces and nephews and a very devoted and loving friend. She was preceded in death by her godfather, Patrick Boyle.

Marilyn “Sandy” Holomshek Wilson, 77, of Dravosburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at McKeesport Hospital. She was born in Sewickley Township on April 26, 1942 to the late George Holomshek and Mary Melon Holomshek. Sandy was the loving wife and partner to Jerry Wilson. She is survived by her daughter Erica Wilson of Dravosburg as well as her grandchildren Eddie May of Pittsburgh, Adrian May of Pittsburgh, Chazae Martin of McKeesport, Promyse Martin of Dravosburg and her many great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers Nicholas (Janice) Holomshek of Blytehdale, and Paul (Diane) Holomshek of West Mifflin along with her many beloved nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her only son Robert Wilson along with her sisters Anne Organ of Monessen, Alice Smith of Lowber, Evelyn Bente of Miami Springs FL, Nancy Bone of Irwin, as well as her brothers George Holomshek of Hutchinson, Frank Holomshek of Chicago IL, John Holomshek of Mesa AK, Charles Holomshek of Commack NY, and Carl Holomshek of Hermine.

Thomas A. Prusko, 76, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Glassport, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, April 13, 2020. He is the son of the late Joseph and Anne (Michaelson) Prusko. He is survived by his children Pete (Lisa) Prusko and Andrea Prusko, and sister Joanne Prusko. Thomas was a proud Army veteran who served with the 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam War.  Thomas was awarded the Bronze Star.  He was a graduate of Duquesne University and retired from the Corporate Accounting department at Duquesne Light.  Tom was a long-time member of  St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon.

She was a lifelong member of the Clairton Church of God in Christ, later renamed Gethsemane C.O.G.I.C, having been born the year the church started in Lincoln way. She served as a Sunday School teacher and church secretary under then Pastor Elder Ithiel C. Clemmons, She was more recently appointed Church Mother under current Pastor and her youngest brother, Dr. Melvin Brown, Sr.

Beverly June Esasky, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020.  She was born June 10, 1936 in Jeannette, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Bertha Berdine (McCready) Stough.  Beverly was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Jeannette.  She enjoyed making blessed angels for the sick and homebound, quilting, crafting, baking and playing Bingo.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Annette Esasky; brothers, James and Alan Stough; sisters, Janet Hoffer and Sue Ann Stough.   She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Esasky; sons, Charles "Skip", Joey (Irzha), Randy, Michael (Sherry), Daryld (Donna); daughters, Marisue (Randy) Morgan, Shannan (Marty) Esasky; sister, Carol Stough; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  Funeral services are private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements made by the James W. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Betty and Ruth. As an Aviation Ordnanceman Third Class in the US Navy he served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. He graduated from McKeesport High School and received his undergraduate degree from Westminster College with a major in chemistry.
