Robert A. Waight, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  He was born September 26, 1937 in Aspinwall, a son of the late Floyd and Margaret (Krieg) Waight.  Prior to his retirement, Robert was an electrical engineer for Westinghouse and a veteran of the US Army Reserves.  He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and James Waight; and sister, Patty Waight.  He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, JoAnne Wilkinson Waight; sons, Jim and his wife, Ann, Neal and his wife, Julie; daughter, Laura Chomanics and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, LeeAnn (Brandon) Meyer, Christina Waight, Madeline Waight, Dominique (Steven) Gray; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Francis, Lillian, and Cecilia.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.   A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
