George S. Haller, age 87 of North Huntingdon, passed away on November 1, 2025 at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg. He was born on July 15, 1938 in McKeesport, a son of the late Michael Haller Sr. and Mary Palovich Haller. George was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak, and the Norwin Lion's Club. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an engineer for U.S. Steel. In his free time, George always looked forward to golfing and gardening, and he was a collector of various items. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Haller Jr. and Thomas Haller. He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Krznaric Haller, one sister Rosemary Haller, brothers-in-law Charles Krznaric (wife Lisa), Franklin Krznaric (wife Lou Ann), and Gregory Krznaric (wife Judy), sister-in-law Patricia Zarak, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in St. Angela Merici Church. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Vue. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in George's name to the Norwin Lion's Club or the Alzheimer’s Foundation. James W. Alverda L. “Birdie” Kivador O'Hara, 69, of Greensburg, formerly of Clairton, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at her home. She was born in Jefferson on October 6, 1956, to the late Charles “Big A” Kivador and Twyla Knight Bowers. She is survived by sons Dan (Kristy) Kivador of Hempfield, Grant (Dana) O'Hara of Wheeling, WV, Matthew O'Hara of Liberty, and James R. (Tonya) O'Hara, Jr. of Washington, sister Sandra Butvin of Portage, IN, fifteen grandchildren, nephews John, Jimmy, and Andrew Butvin, and beloved cat Willow. Sharyn A. Mahoney, age 81 of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at South Hills Acute Care, Bethel Park. Born September 7, 1944 in Wilkinsburg, she was a daughter of the late Eugene G. and Marcella A. (McCue) Smouse. A retired food service worker at UPMC McKeesport, Sharyn spent her retirement actively enjoying life, sunbathing, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She is survived by her children Yvonne L. (Matt) Krason of West Newton of Chris (Penny) Mahoney of Monongahela; her grandchildren Cody Krason and Piper Mahoney; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sharyn was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Braun.
