Cornelia "Connie" Zoretich, 84, formerly of McKeesport passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at Serenity - LGAR in Turtle Creek. She was born September 15, 1941 to the late Frank and Madeline (Cifone) Aiello. She was the wife to the late Ronald Zoretich before his passing on March 14, 1992. She was a 1959 graduate of Our Lady of Mercy Academy and became a long time member at St. Angela Merici, where she would always welcome you with a warm smile as a greeter and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Enjoying life to the fullest, Connie danced away the night to the Oldies at numerous venues in the Pittsburgh, McKeesport and Monroeville areas. She worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp in East Pittsburgh within their payroll department, for Kaufman's credit department within Century III Mall, as well as working in the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, helping kids with special needs, absolutely loving her job. Finally, retiring in 2003 as a personal care assistant for the McKeesport Area School District.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica (Charles) Grandll of New Hampshire; her aunts, Marie (the late Ben) Cifone, and Shirley(the late Edward) McCarron; an uncle, Ray (the late Josie) Strednak; sister in law, Rebecca Zoretich; a dear friend, Kathy Sostaric; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Connie is preceded in death by her brother, Frank Aiello; and her devoted partner, Joe Volpe. Friends are welcome Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 2-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Mass will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 10:00 am at Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Angela Church, White Oak (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Entombment will follow at Good ShepherdCatholic Cemetery in Monroeville. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Serenity at LGAR, Turtle Creek for the amazing care they gave to Connie, all the way up until the end.
