Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | November 14, 2025

Clinton John Gura, 82, of North Versailles, Pa., died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born May 24, 1943, in Braddock, Pa., a son of the late Peter J. and Martha Ertman Gura.  Clint graduated from Scott High School, North Braddock, Pa.  He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1965 and honorably served his country as a military policeman stationed in Germany.  He worked many years as a crane man at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh. In his later years he worked in warehouse/delivery at Thermal Industries in Pittsburgh.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jayme Wilson of McKeesport, Pa. They were married Sept. 4, 1976, at St. Joseph Church in Port Vue, Pa., and would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2026.  He is further survived by two daughters, Hilary Gura Onderisin and her husband, Jonathan, of North Versailles, Pa., and Coleen Gura Sears and her husband, Mark, of Wilkinsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Eric Gura, of Allentown, Pa., and Gary Gura and his wife, Carole, of Salisbury, Mass.; two sisters, Linda Gura Buckalew and her husband, Bob, of West Chester, Pa., and Natalie Gura Wynn and her husband, Chris, of McKeesport, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, Erik Gura, Kimberly Gura Moore, Lauren Buckalew, Ella Buckalew, Kristen Wynn, Allison Wynn, and Zachary Wynn; and three grandchildren, Samara Ahmed, Jonathan Onderisin, and Dove Onderisin.  Clint was a kind man who understood the depth of life's simpler pleasures: hunting, taking naps, reading the newspaper, and cutting firewood. A dog lover, he still mourned the passing of Gus, his late German shorthaired pointer and faithful companion.  Clint's pride and joy was his family, especially his three grandchildren. His love for Sam, Jon, and Dove was boundless and pure.  Family and friends will be received on Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory, 220 9th St., McKeesport, PA.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
