Adella, a devoted wife, mother, Grandma/Nana and GiGi, was a member Journey by Grace Free Methodist Church, Belle Vernon.  She will be remembered for her legendary hugs, hearty handshakes, instantaneous smile and asking everyone she met: “Do you know Jesus?”

Irene Teresa Consales, 91, of White Oak, passed away peacefully on Friday, August  9, 2019. She was born May 20, 1928 in Versailles and was the daughter of the late George and Anna Korodi Lukas. Irene worked as a librarian for Westinghouse Energy Center and was a former member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak.  She loved to play scrabble, was excellent with words, and loved Reader's Digest.  Irene was also an excellent cook and she was known for her cheesecake, which was the pride and joy of every party, but most importantly she loved her children and her grandchildren.

She was born June 16, 1942 in Elizabeth and was the daughter of the late Woodrow Daugherty and Ethel Weatherwalk Moreland. Jan worked for over 20 years as a tax preparer for H&R Block at their West Newton and Belle Vernon locations.  She was a loving wife, amazing mother and second mom to many, a proud grandmother, both a girl scout and cub scout leader, and also a softball coach.

Tarquinio Joseph “Tar” “Terry” D’Onofrio, 67, of McKeesport, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019. He was born in McKeesport on June 10, 1952 to the late Angelo and Elizabeth Skufca D’Onofrio. He is survived by niece, Sherry Andreo, as well as many, many friends. Tarquinio was a faithful member, attendee, and volunteer of St. Marks Parish. He was known for his faith, as well as his kind and gentle disposition. Tarquinio enjoyed playing pool, reading, sports, and loved drinking coffee. Services have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A graveside service will take place at St. Clare of Assisi Cemetery, Worthington Ave, Clairton, PA 15025, to be presided by Father Wagner, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 12:00.  A church service in honor of Tarquinio will take place at a later date. Dorothy Ann Kalkbrenner, age 79, of Liberty Boro, died Thursday, August 8, 2019.  She was born in McKeesport on October 1, 1939 and is the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Strager Lucas. She retired from Braddock Hospital, then worked in personal care at Glen Shaw Woods in McKeesport, then at Kelli Home Health Services. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Mosqueda of Glassport; grandchildren, Christopher Mosqueda, Tyler and Spenser Kalkbrenner, and Alexis Brown; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Jackson, and Colton.   She was preceded in death by her son, Ted Kalkbrenner

Casimira Rogowski, 83, passed away Friday August 2, 2019 at her home in North Huntingdon. Beloved wife of Jaroslav “Jerry” Rogowski.  Cassie loved spending time with her family, traveling with her family and reading. She was always there to lend a hand to others and was an attentive and loving grandmother.  As Buddha said, if you light a lamp for someone else, it will also brighten your path. Cassie brightened the lives of many during her life.

Surviving her are two sons John Rogowski, of East McKeesport and Michael Rogowski, of Park City, UT; and their spouses, Cheryl Rogowski and Putul Rogowski, her brother Zdzislaw (Jerry) Zawada, five grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Irene (Lomis) Helman, age 91 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital.  Born August 14, 1927 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late John and Suzanne (Majer) Lomis.  She obtained an Associate’s Degree from C.C.A.C., was a retired medical assistant for Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, was the former secretary at First Presbyterian Church in Clairton, and a long time member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.  She was a member of Wilson Presbyterian Church in Clairton.  Irene was also the caregiver for her nephew James Lomis.  She joins her husband, the late Ralph J. Dorcas Jean Aulenbach O’Dell, 96, of Elizabeth, formerly of Clairton and Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Southwestern Nursing Home. She was born in Lebanon, PA on September 29, 1922 to the late Anthony J. and Mabel Bohr Miller Aulenbach. Dorcas was the loving wife for 26 years to the late Melvin O’Dell. She is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann M. (Jerry) Kach, of Elizabeth, and son, Dennis M. (Joyce) O’Dell, of Monongahela, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and Tillie the cat. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorcas was preceded in death by her son, David A. O’Dell, brothers: Russell and Richard Aulenbach, sisters: Loretta Hutchinson, Jane Aulenbach, Ruth Aulenbach, Mary Ellen Batdorf, and Nancy Gaston, and Bubba the cat. She was a former member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Clairton, and was a member of the Altar guild and Esther Circle. Dorcas also enjoyed baking, flowers, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-7pm at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place Thursday at 10:00, at the funeral home, presided by Pastor Allyn Itterly, of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, of Pleasant Hills. The Rev. Gordon Peers Ray, 77, of White Oak, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He was born June 21, 1942 in Rockford, IL, and was the son of the late Peers Foster and Mary Elizabeth (Stocking) Ray. He was a 1960 graduate of East Rockford High School, 1964 University of Dubuque, IA, 1968 Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, and was ordained in 1968 by the Illinois Synod of the LCA. In 1968, he began his ministry serving Gloria DCI Mission in Hagerstown, IN, followed by Leetsdale Wall Rose Parish in Leetsdale, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monessen, House of Prayer Lutheran church in Aliquippa, St. John Lutheran church, Carnegie, and Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak where he retired from in 2007.
