Born March 13, 1932, in Munhall, he was the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Racho) Marcinko. Mr. Marcinko was a member of St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, Whitaker and a retired employee of US Steel Carrie Furnace. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Spirnak) Marcinko for 60 years. He is also survived by a daughter, Janice (Jim) Priselac; and a sister, Sister Eileen Marcinko, SCN; and two grandchildren.

Ethel Jane Eschelbacher, 92, of Clairton, previously of Wilkinsburg, passed away at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 14, 1924 to the late George C. and Ethel MacDonald Beers.  Ethel was the loving wife of the late Edward A. Eschelbacher who passed away in 2010.  She is survived by daughter, Barbara A. Richardson of Seattle WA; sons, Keith M. Richardson of Glassport, Edward A. Eschelbacher Jr. of Pittsburgh; step daughter, Sandra Gerendash of McKeesport. Ethel was employed by Union Railroad,  Union National Bank, Swindell Dressler Company in Pittsburgh and Clairton Police Department as a secretary, a member of First Presbyterian Church of Wilkinsburg, Lebanon Presbyterian Church of West Mifflin, and a member of Clairton Hill AARP # 2862. Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at S. M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton,   PA   15025. Dr. McCormley was a graduate of Clairton High School and received his chemistry degree from Pitt. His career began as a chemist for the Pennsylvania Industrial Chemical Co., then, while still working in the lab at Picco- attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine- graduating in 1962.

Joseph Pirschl, age 89, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at home. He was born March 30, 1927 in McKees Rocks, a son of the late Joseph and Diana (Calcey) Pirschl. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and went on to be co-founder of the Serro Travel Trailer Company in 1956 along with his father in law, John Serro. Due to his efforts, the Scotty brand of camping trailers became an icon in the RV industry. Two of the original models are currently in the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN.

James A. "Jim" Buck, age 75 of Greenock, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home. Born July 8, 1941 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Andrew John and Ethel P. (Kovach) Buck. Jim was a 1964 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Upon graduation, he dedicated his career to the steel manufacturing industry, working as a metallurgical engineer for many of the local and national steel companies, including US Steel Corporation and Jones & Laughlin Steel Company. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and could also be found on the greens enjoying a game of golf. James is survived by his brother, Bill (Suzie) Buck or Arlington, VA; sister, Debbie (Jim) Andrachek of Export, PA; nephews, Billy (Heather) Buck and Michael Andrachek; niece, Victoria Andrachek; and two great-nephews and a great-niece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, John B. Buck. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of Blessing Service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Father Matthew Elanjileth will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Patricia L. Deak, age 78 of McKeesport, passed away at home on December 22, 2016.  Born on October 15, 1938 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carolyn (Davis) Barnes and the wife of the late William Deak.  Patricia was known for her delicous homemade candy.  Her homemade hard-tack Christmas candy and her many Easter chocolates were enjoyed by all.   She also enjoyed painting ceramics.  She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Terri) Deak and Brian (Teri) Deak; grandchildren, Christopher (Elisha) Deak and Shannon Deak; great-grandson, Ryder; sisters, Carol Delullo and Linda Barnes.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Barnes.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday December 27, 2016 from 4 p.m. until the time service at 6:30 p.m.  Pastor Marty Smith will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
