Karen Litzinger, age 74, of Pitcairn, died Thursday, May 16, 2019. She was born in Pittsburgh on October 8, 1944 and is the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Bungert Argall.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dave Litzinger; sons, David (Annie) Litzinger of Irwin and Brian (Maria) Litzinger of Apex, NC; grandchildren, Elise an Brendan Litzinger; sisters, Arlene (the late George) Saula of Grampian, PA and Melanie (William) Hansen of North Huntingdon, PA; nieces and nephews, Shani (Dane) Germuska, Shara Hopkins, Brent (Chrissy) Hansen and Brynn (Phil) Morgan and numerous great nieces and nephews. Karen was a devout family-oriented person…family always came first. She and her husband, Dave, visited Hawaii (which was Karen’s lifelong dream) for their fortieth wedding anniversary.
Family and friends will be received at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, 412 678 6177) on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. with her nephew, Brent Hansen, officiating. Entombment will follow.

Joan A. Virgona, age 80 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Jefferson Hospital. Born June 23, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Anna Marie (LaValle) Phillips. A former sales associate at Skapik's and a cook for the former Keck's Restaurant and St. Clare School, Joan was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, ran the summer lunch program at the 10th. St. Playground, was active with the Sons of Columbus Santa Maria Council #4, and was a bowling coach for the Special Olympics. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Domenic V. Virgona; her children Kim (Bill) Nickolich, Debra (David P.) Maksin, Beverly Virgona, and Domenic J. (Vanessa) Virgona, all of Clairton; her grandchildren Laura Nickolich, Domenic J. Virgona, and David S. (Allison) and Heath Maksin; her great-grandson Liam Mizak; her sister Harriet B. (the late Alan) Seng of Bethel Park; and also nieces and nephews.

Irvin "Kili" Green, Jr., 48, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.
He was born April 28, 1971, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Irvin and Joan Green East. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Valerie Green, and brother, Mark Green.
Kili was a graduate of Clairton High School and played little league Baseball and Varsity Football. He was an avid sneakerhead and also loved collecting and wearing ball caps! Kili’s true passion was cooking. Cooking was an extension of love for Kili and everyone who had the opportunity to enjoy a meal made by him could taste this.

Patricia A. Monoyoudis, age 84, of White Oak died Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She was born in McKeesport on December 13, 1934 and is the daughter of the late George and Elsie Peterson McAdoo. She is the wife of the late George Monoyoudis. She was employed by the city of McKeesport where she served as the City Administrator. She held the position of Treasurer in 1976 and served in various capacities throughout the years. She was employed part time at Compacting Tooling, Inc. in Elizabeth. She was a member of the former McKeesport Symphony Board and the Jodie Matta-Dillinger Cancer Care Foundation at UPMC McKeesport, she was a McKeesport High School graduate and loved working on the reunion committee and she was a member of the Friday Lunch Group.

He was born December 2, 1947, in McKeesport, PA, son of the late William Frank and Mattie R. Barber Truesdale. He was also preceded in death by his brother Robert Truesdale,
Frankie was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a graduate of the McKeesport Area High School, and a graduate of Triangle Tech, where he earned an Associate degree; He also proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War Era. Frankie had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed traveling and gardening--both vegetables and flowers, worked as a jitney driver, and also served as an Advocate for Narcotic Anonymous at the Harrison Village Recreation Center. Frank worked as a Laundry Supervisor for VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Highland Drive.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Leslie C. Truesdale of McKeesport; daughter, Sharese N. Truesdale; granddaughters, Raven, Ryan, and Rayn; great-granddaughter, Ariah Armstrong; siblings, Danny (Ellie) Luckett of Kansas City, KS, Williams G.
