John Robert Ross, age 61 of Fallowfield Twp., passed away at home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.  Born March 7, 1958 in Clairton, he was a son of the late John W. and Rose (Havrilla) Ross.  A US Army Veteran, John was a paramedic for the City of Clairton and a member of the fire departments of Glassport, Charleroi, and Clairton.  He is survived by his wife Pamela J. (Shipe) Ross; his daughter Heather (Raymond) Lynn of Fallowfield Twp.; his four grandchildren Jesse, Abbey, Shelby, and Earl; his sister Joanne (David) Scapellato of McKeesport; his brother Michael Ross of Pleasant Hills; and also nieces and nephews.

David P. Adams, 68, of Murrysville, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 3, 2019, with his family by his side.

Born March 17, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Skurnick) Adams. Dave was a member of the last class of Westinghouse Memorial High School, and a graduate of Point Park University. He worked for many years for Carclo Technical Plastics in Export and Latrobe, and as a professional photographer for newspapers, other publications, schools, and organizations.

He was a former member and past president of Murrysville Lions Club, and an avid supporter of Franklin Regional Marching Band. He also was a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan and a longtime member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Export. Most important to Dave was his family, and he was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnijean Cooney Adams; daughters Susan Adams, Lisa (Lou) Garbin, Nettie (Eric) Matheny, and Racquel (Chris) Matijak; grandchildren Tori Adams, Saarah Matijak, Samantha Matijak, and Ryan Garbin; foster grandchildren, and one on the way; brothers Ray (Patti) Adams and Bob (Mary) Adams; nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many family friends.

Elsie Christine “Tootsie” Germek Cola, 80, a resident of Clairton for 50 years, formerly of Glassport, passed away at home on Monday, June 10th, 2019. She was born in Duquesne on October 12, 1938 to the late John Sr. and Anna Stanko Germek. Elsie was the loving wife of 57 years to the late Gerald John “Coke” Cola, Sr. She is survived by her sons; Gerald (Shari) Cola, of Clairton, Gregory (Michael Garofola) Cola, of McKeesport, brother, Thomas (Sharyon) Germek, of North Huntingdon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie was preceded in death by her brothers; Raymond, John and George Germek. She was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. Elsie enjoyed cooking, baking and playing cards, but will also be remembered for her kindness and humble nature. Arrangements have been entrusted to S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 14th at 10:00am at the Port Vue Calvary Cemetery, 510 Dersam St, McKeesport, PA 15133. Paulette L. Kensky, 95, of West Mifflin, died June 11, 2019.  Born Jan. 13, 1924 in Beauvois, France to Albert Alexandre Carpentier and Marthe Geogette Fastrelle.  She was preceded in death by her husband John and son Jean Francoise and is survived by daughters Paulette Eddy and MaryAnn Griffith and her loving cat Morris; grandchildren Lori, Paula, Gina and Colette; also numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She met her husband to be in Paris when he was stationed with the Army Air Corp. in 1944, 2 years later she was finally allowed to enter the United States after one month on an army shipt to arrive at Ellis Island.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Fri. from 10:00 am to Noon, at which time a funeral blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski.  Interment following St. Joseph Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "In Care of Cats" in Elizabeth, Pa.

Mary (Dojcak) Voytko, 95, lifetime resident of Duquesne, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Golden Height Personal Care Home, Irwin. Born in Duquesne, August 27, 1923, she was the daughter of the Late Michael and Mary (Ivanov) Dojcak. She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church, McKeesport. She was the beloved wife of the Late Stephen Voytko and is survived by her five loving children, Virginia (Edward) Craft, Rosemarie Mesick, Edward (Sandra) Voytko, Shirley (David) Reichenecker, and Mary Jane (Thomas) Denne, eight grandchildren, Rob Zgonc, Lisa (Rich) Noullet, Brian (Jennifer) Mesick, Kevin (Melissa) Voytko, Rebecca Lippai, Monica (Peter) Spence, Luke (Kristen) Denne and Nick (Erin) Denne; sixteen great grandchildren, Alex, Alicia, Brianna, Steven, Addisyn, Hailey, Colin, Logan, Michael, Jack, Daniel, Caroline, Trenton, Matthew, Samuel, and Maggie, and several nieces and nephews.

John Michael Seman, 46, of Wilmerding, passed away on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Worth Township of Butler County. He was born in McKeesport on July 3rd, 1972 to the late Charles Richard Seman and the surviving Rose Marie Teck Seman. John is survived by his son, Corey M. Albeck. Of White Oak, grandchildren; Kayden, Nathaniel, Emma, and Briella, brothers George (Judy) Seman, of Renfrew of, Bill (Marcy) Seman, of West Elizabeth, sisters; Barb Christie, of Slippery Rock and Roxanne Seman of Wilmerding. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Seman II. John formerly served in the US Marine Corps, and was employed as a professional Trucker. Donald L. Critchlow, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019.  He was born, November 25, 1929 in McKeesport, a son of the late Clifford and Margaret Critchlow.  Prior to his retirement, Donald was the owner of Critchlow Heating and Plumbing.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, former member of Norwin Lions Club and enjoyed traveling in his RV.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. Pommer Critchlow.  He is survived by his children, Lee Critchlow and his wife, Patty, Linda Griffin and her husband, Larry, Mark Critchlow and his wife, Ruthann; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth (Sean), Nathan, Jeremy, Jocelyn, Larry, Amanda (Chris), Iean; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Genevieve, Sadie, Cody, Anna, Taylor, Smokey, Sean and Addison; brother, Ken (Marilyn) Critchlow; and life-long friend, Phyllis Gregory.  Friends will be received at the James W. Mary Elizabeth (DeBor) Zwack, age 98 of Clairton, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019.  Born February 22, 1921 in Pittsburgh, she was the third of five children of the late Arcadius Ferdinand DeBoar and Clara (Weis) Debor.  Mary was raised through the great depression, and the great and deadly flu and scarlet fever epidemics that forced quarantines on her home growing up.  After casting aside a litany of ardent suitors, she chose a handsome US Army Sergeant as her husband: the late Michael N. Zwack, who passed away November 24, 2013.  Although she never reached over five feet tall, she could run fast and had a very protective older brother.  She is survived by her daughter Diane Fagot of Clairton; her grandchildren Bridget (Sean) Rieger of Elizabeth and Neil (Julie) Fagot of Pleasant Hills;  her great-grandchildren Kaia, Bodi, and Soren Rieger and Mirielle Fagot; her sister Madelyn DeBor; and also many nieces and nephews.

Christina E. (Norgren) Hensler, 89, of East McKeesport passed away quietly at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Christina was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hensler, daughters Karla Jenkins and Karen Hensler and son-in-law Dewey Spittler. She is survived by children Keith (Carol) Hensler, Kevin (Sheila) Hensler, Kathy (Jerry) Salomon, Kerry Hensler, Kris Spittler, and Karyl (Todd) Sarver. Christina was a loving grandmother to her 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Christina was preceded in death by 8 siblings and is survived by sisters Donna Yakovich and Carol Istvanik. Christina was an instructional aid for East Allegheny School District until her retirement at age 72. She was an active member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish and spent many years as a CCD instructor. Most recently she enjoyed serving as a Meals-On-Wheels volunteer. Along with her commitment and devotion to her own 8 children she always opened her home and her heart to others. She will be missed by all those she touched with her kindness and grace.

He was very proud of three things he got to do in life, owning a Model T and being part of the Model T Club in Dallas, taking flying lessons and flying out of Rostraver Airport, and his vast Civil War Membrobillia Collection.
