James R. Faison, age 82, of North Versailles passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019. He was born March 22, 1937 in Jeannette, the son of the late Lynwood and Laura Faison. He attended St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport and was a member of the Elks in Norwin. He worked for over 31 years as a MI Writer working with manufacturing blueprints for Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh. After retiring, he worked in the tri-state area setting up Hallmark Card displays in stores. He is survived by his wife of over 58 years Georgeanne W. (Wallace) Faison; children Michelle (Paul) Wassel of Scottdale and James R. (Bernadette) Faison Jr. of Murrysville; grandchildren Mallory Schank of McKeesport and Ross Schank of White Oak; and sister Margaret Roy.

Teresa (Cavatoni) Banfield, age 91, of Atria South Hills, formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on July 23, 2019.
She was born June 30, 1928 in Colver, Pa., to Tullio and Maria (Parissenti) Cavatoni. Teresa was a R.N. at the Bruceton Research Center and previously served in the USAF from 1950-1965 after she graduated from the Windber Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1949.
Teresa was active at the Jefferson Hills Women's Club and volunteered at the food bank in Duquesne and with the Ladies of Charity at St. Thomas a Becket Church. She loved family, cats and gardening.
Teresa is survived by her two sons, Tim (Kathy) Banfield and Mike Banfield; a sister, Edith Zawiskie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She retired as an anesthesia tech at McKeesport Hospital and was a member of Bethesda United Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth. Like Rosie the Riveter, she worked at U.S. Steel Irvin Works during World War II. She loved her family, her home, animals and she enjoyed baking. She was an extremely generous person who loved Christmas and giving gifts.

Louis A. Hollibaugh, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019. He was born June 26, 1930 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Elmer and Martha (Beadle) Hollibaugh. Prior to his retirement, Louis was a salesman for various car dealerships in the area and served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Joshua Charles (Josh) Boucek, 41 of McKeesport, died Thursday, July 18, 2019. He was the son of John and Elsie Parton Boucek. Josh was a collector with many interests. He was highly creative and a talented artist. He loved animals and nature, and was an avid hiker on the Yough Trail. He worked for the Carnegie Free Library of McKeesport for several years before becoming involved with e commerce. Josh is survived by his mother, sister Julie Kobesky, brother-in-law Daryl and niece Ania, sister Janet Fellows, nieces Liz, Holly and Allie, brother-in-law Chris Fellows, aunts and uncles, and cousins, Linda and Keith Donati, Jess Horenstein, Keith and Tina Parton, Janet and Chuck Waugaman, Chelsea and Gretchen, Jeff and Kathy Boucek, Katie and Johnathan, and many extended family members. A memorial service is planned for later this fall. Contributions may be made to the McKeesport Trail Commission, or to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, a no kill animal shelter. Richard “Dick” J. Lewis, 78, of Irwin, passed away peacefully at home Monday, July 22, 2019. He was born February 18, 1941 in Braddock, a son of the late Thomas J. Lewis Jr. and Virginia L. (Wescott) Lewis. He was a 1959 graduate of Jeannette High School, and a long time member of First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg . Prior to his retirement, Dick was a plant manager of Latrobe Foundry, Whitney and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. He was an avid Steeler fan, loved hunting and fishing with his dad, cousins, and nephews. Dick was an animal lover and will be missed by his “grand –dogs” Zuzu , Lucy, Stella, and Stanley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved nephew Kevin Thomas Pushic. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Arlene (Gallaway) Lewis, his children Pam (Alex) Cotter of Irwin and Kelly (Glenn) Stants of Smithton; grandchildren Tara, Brandon, Cameron, Kayleigh, Kaine, and Gavin; his siblings Ronald (Jan) Lewis of N.C. and Linda Lewis Frye of Greensburg; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Steve G. Gasparovic, 95, of Ardara, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019. He was born Feb. 1, 1924, in McKeesport, a son of the late Mark and Mary (Blazik) Gasparovic. Steve was a longtime member of Ardara United Presbyterian Church, a proud World War II Air Force veteran, and prior to retirement, he worked as a crane operator at Josh Steel Co., Braddock. He was member of American Legion Post 359, Irwin, and VFW Post 5008, Braddock. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Harold “Archie” Lauterbach, 90, a lifetime resident of Clairton, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Ashbury Heights Nursing Home. He was born in Clairton on March 3, 1929 to the late Peter Joseph and Caroline DeBor Lauterbach. Harold was a well-known figure in the community of Clairton. As a young man he played baseball for United States Steel, Clairton Works. His participation in a “mill team” was a significant part of Pittsburgh history, as noted in an exhibit at the Heinz History Center. He went on to become Facility Manager of Calgon’s packing & shipping facility in the Robinson area of Pittsburgh, a company where he worked for 30 years. Harold drove and helped deliver Meals on Wheels for many years in the Clairton community. Harold volunteered his time at St. Clare of Assisi, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved classical music and the symphony. He is survived by his sister, Doris Mae Manns of Scottdale, nieces and nephews; Michele Bamburak, Eric Manns, Mark Manns, Amy (Joseph) Eichenlaub, Paul (Melissa) Manns, Russ (Colleen) Halt, Beth Mellott, and Carol (Alan) Schriber, Great nieces and nephews; Laura (Josh Warner Burke) Bamburak, Aaron Bamburak, Noah Manns, Savanah Manns, Chloe Eichenlaub, Logan Eichenlaub, Jeremy Halt, Caitlyn Halt, Mikayla Halt, Nathan Mellott, Lily Mellott, Ricky Mellott, Mark Schriber, Leighann Washburns, Great-great nieces and nephews; Quinn Warner Burke, Jake Washburns, and Kaylee Washburns.
