Shirley (Sipe) McClain, 91, of North Versailles Twp. died April 9, 2020. Shirley was the devoted wife of the late James J. McClain. Loving mother of Patrick (Theresa) McClain, Richard P. Benjamin Cooper departed this life on April 7, 2020, peacefully with his wife by his side; he was born on November 5, 1937 in McKeesport to the late Benjamin Cooper Sr., & Bernice Bostic Cooper Davis and was preceded in death by his daughter Kamala Cooper Hamilton.
He enlisted in the army and subsequently the air force. He was employed by MARK Construction for 20 years and part of many projects such as: High View Gardens (apartments), Duquesne University (dormitories), Clairton Municipal Building and various projects throughout various states: North Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana.
He retired from McKeesport School District where he was a Grounds Keeper of 10 years.

Theresa Renee Spell, 58, of McKeesport, was born on March 30, 1962 to Willie Mae “Jenny” Stinson and the late Albert Nixon. Absent from the body, but present with the Lord, Theresa passed away on April 5, 2020 at the UMPC McKeesport Hospital.
Theresa, a graduate of McKeesport Area High School where she was a tiger cheerleader, was a Homemaker. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She nurtured and filled the home with a joyful spirit. Her voice could be heard through the soulful sounds of Gospel Music.

Helen M. Campbell, age 92 of Clairton, passed away at home on Friday, April 10, 2020. Born May 9, 1927 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Mike and Mary (Kislan) Wasko. A member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, Helen was a graduate of the former California Teachers College (now California University of Pennsylvania) and retired as an art teacher for Clairton School District. At home, she always made everyone feel welcome, whether in her own home or her cottage at Conneaut Lake. Helen would gladly offer to help anyone in the family who needed it: whether it was an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or help to get started in life. She was so loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Colleen Diane Williams, age 67 of Liberty Boro, passed away on April 9, 2020. Born in January 1953 in Augusta, GA, she is preceded in death by her parents Roy Francis (Pauline) Williams and Doris Jean Spano (Leger) as well as her sister, Marcia Williams. Colleen spent much of her childhood as an “Army Brat” traveling the world before settling in Pittsburgh, PA in 1982 to raise her daughter Jessica “to move out” as she put it (see note about independence below). She retired from the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, in 2005 after 30 years of government service and has been working for CVS Caremark since 2011.
Colleen made friends wherever she went because she was the type of person that people were drawn to. She possessed many admirable qualities - most notably her fierce independence, strength, determination, and optimism - unmatched by many. Colleen was a dedicated mother, and she especially treasured quality time with her granddaughter Olivia, who brought immense joy to her life. She enjoyed teaching and sharing with Olivia her love for gardening and cooking/grilling as often as possible, and she also tackled many home improvement projects, spent hours researching genealogy, and wrote countless poems.
Colleen is survived by her daughter Jessica Stanko (Dave Lozecki); granddaughter Olivia Stanko; brother Mark Williams (Mary Hogan); sister, RoiLyn (John) Smith; half-brother, John (Shari) Domina; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
There is no visitation or service at this time; however, the family will plan a celebration of Colleen’s life at a later date.

James “Jim” Edward Lebeda, 67, of Glassport, formerly of Port Vue, passed away at his home on Friday, April 10, 2020. He was born in Homestead on April 29, 1952 to the late Paul and Mary Alice Langley Lebeda. James was the loving husband of 45 years to Cheryl L. Forbes Lebeda. Along with his wife he is also survived by brothers Robert Lebeda, of Ligonier, and David Lebeda of Roswell, NM, sisters Darlene (Donald) Rutter, of Swissvale, and Debra (Gregory) Haughey, of Glassport, nephew Michael Miller, of Glassport, great niece Rylee Miller, of Glassport, and Godchildren David and Destiny Nehila, both of Clairton. He was a lifetime member of the Citizens Hose Company in Glassport, and was in the United States Marine Corp. James was formerly employed at W.M.M.C., Inc, Hazardous Waste removal in Pittsburgh for 14 years, and also Allegheny General Hospital as security for 10 years. He deeply cared for his family and Godchildren, and also enjoyed watching sports. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. Due to current social distancing guidelines family and friends will be received at a later date for a memorial service. Stanley James Kolosky, 62, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born November 20, 1957 in Greensburg, a son of the late Victor and Emma (Weaver) Kolosky. Prior to his retirement, Stan worked in the construction industry, primarily as a drywall finisher. Stan was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin where he attended mass regularly. Stan enjoyed music, spending time with his family and was an avid sports fan. Stan will be deeply missed by all who knew him and he was simply one of the kindest people you could be fortunate enough to have known. Helen Lavern Dudley McKissick, 74, of McKeesport, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2020, at home surrounded by her children and loving family members.
Born February 12, 1946, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walton and Hilda Christian Dudley. Helen attended McKeesport Area School District and was a graduate in 1965.
As a young girl Helen gave her life to Christ, but, being one that didn’t like submersion of water or swim, she was reluctant to be baptized. However, she was elated that she decided to be baptized in October 2018 at Bethlehem Temple Church of Duquesne, and was a joyous member of Payne Chapel AME Church of Duquesne, where she served on the Steward board.

She was born during the Spanish Flu pandemic in 1920 and died during the current Corona Virus pandemic in 2020. She wasn’t called Calamity Jane for nothing! Also known as Grandma Honeybunch, and GG (Great Grandma), she lit up a room upon entering and, if she wasn’t playing the piano for all to sing along, she was letting everyone know how much she enjoyed them.
