Helen “Sis” E. (Patterson) Kalkbrenner, age 80, of East McKeesport, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020. She was born November 29, 1939 in McKeesport, the daughter of the late John and Lola Patterson.
She worked for over 45 years at American General Insurance Company before retiring. “Sis” was always happy and telling jokes. She enjoyed camping, shopping and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Robert N. Patterson.
She is survived by her husband James Kalkbrenner; and nieces and nephews.

Steven J. Seeman age 90, of Duquesne, on July 11, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport.
Born in Braddock on February 12, 1930, he was the son of the late John & Agnes (O’Masta) Seeman. He served in the Army as a firefighter during World War II, worked as a welder in the fabrication industry, was a member of St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and making violins. Patricia Helen (Samuel) Morra, age 81, of White Oak, passed peacefully into the Lord's hands on July 11, 2020. Born February 4, 1939, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Balcerik) Samuel and the wife of the late Frank Morra. She was a Preschool Aide for the Pittsburgh Board of Education for 35 years. Once she retired, she took care of her grandsons so that her daughter could continue to work. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Francis “Jack” McCombs passed away on April 22, 2019 at his home in Alachua, Fla., with his sister and companion by his side.
Jack was born Feb. 23, 1932 in McKeesport, Pa., the son of Frank and Gladys McCombs of Versailles, Pa. He graduated from McKeesport High School in 1950.
Jack graduated from Kiski Prep School second in class and received athletic awards in five sports. He was admitted to Brown University in Providence, R.I., but decided that a liberal arts degree would not assist him in future
endeavors, and so he transferred to the University of Miami where he majored in aviation and graduated in 1956.

James M. Minarchin, age 77, of Dauberville, Pa., formerly of White Oak, died July 10, 2020 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born March 26, 1943 in Duquesne, Pa., a son of the late Michael and LaVerne Pilcher Minarchin. James was a member of the Glad Tidings Church, Wyomissing, Pa. Prior to his retirement he was employed as an outside machinist at Carpenter Technology and formerly employed by U.S. Steel in Duquesne. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Korea. Jim enjoyed bike riding and was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren . He was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Robert Minarchin. He is survived by his wife, Bonita Wiles Minarchin; three daughters, Lori Gergley (Ronald), Lisa Minarchin, Linda Werner; one sister Sharon Patrick; 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Seth, Angelina, Madison, Riley, Ariana; 5 great-grandchildren, Jayce, Aiden, Xander, Roman and Colton. Dontrelle Yvonne Norfleet, 50, died July 3, 2020, in her home.
She was born on September 18, 1969, to Floyd Norfleet and Teri Williams in McKeesport, PA. Dontrelle had a way with children and she worked as a Childcare and Daycare provider for private families. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was proud to show them off.
Prior to her death, Dontrelle boasted to family and friends that she was looking forward to spending the 4th of July with her grandchildren. Dontrelle was a foodie and a master at the grill. She loved her Facebook page and was always posting something positive and spiritual.
Dontrelle loved God and she recently devoted her life back to Christ. One of Dontrelle's favorite gospel songs was "Every Praise", by Hezekiah Walker, she would play that song over and over again, and she taught it to her grandchildren too.

Born April 7, 1951 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Steve and Bessie (Pekarsky) Lugarich. A 1973 graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Accounting, Stephen retired in 2019 as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking for PNC Bank. He was also a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish (St. Patrick's Church), the CFU Lodge #146, and the Penn State Alumni Association. His family will always regard Stephen as a kind, thoughtful, driven, honest, nurturing, and grounded man; and remember him as an artist, father, golfer, doting grandfather, and a man that we should all aspire to be. Also, Stephen is survived by his wife Paula (LoBue) Lugarich, whom he married in 1975; his children Kristin (Kevin) Wasko of Jefferson Hills, Stephen (Kathleen) Lugarich of Alexandria, VA, and Michael (Laura) Lugarich of McCandless; his grandchildren Brayden and Madison Wasko; his sister Kathy (Dane) Yancic of Elizabeth Twp.; and also nieces and nephews. She is survived by daughter, Donna (Art Jr.) Bamert of Elizabethtown; son, Ronald (Florie Forsythe) Kandsberger of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Rebekka Bamert of Elizabethtown, Noah Bamert of Elizabethtown and Ryan Kandsberger of York; son-in-law, Jamison Beck of Surfside, SC; sister, Gertrude "Gerry" (Dave) McCullough of Seattle, WA; also, nieces and nephews.
