Joan (Clark) Troy, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away on Friday May 12, 2017. She  was born April 18, 1931, a daughter of the late John and Mabel (Radford) Clark and was also preceded in death by her husband John M. Troy; her twin brother Jack Clark and brother Robert J. Clark. Joan was a retired registered nurse who worked at Braddock General Hospital. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, ceramics and doing crafts. She is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Joan is survived by her sons John W. Troy of Alaska and Kevin F. Troy of North Huntingdon; sisters in law Irene Clawson  and Joanna Clark; special niece Shari (Thomas W.) Gravely; several nieces and nephews.

Anna Mae "Bubba" Fecik, 87 of McKeesport, died Saturday May 13, 2017. She was born May 22, 1929 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Boziecevic Rupcic. Anna Mae was a member of St. Angela Merici Church in White Oak where she in the church choir in the 1980's and early 1990's. She was a retired clerk for Allegheny County Recorder of Deeds and had worked there for 19 years. She previously worked for Thorofare for 25 years. Bubba enjoyed Tamburitza and Croatian Music and loved to collect cookbooks and recipes. She also made excellent strudel. She was a hard worker and worked till she was 75 years old. She was a mom and gramma and loved her family very much. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann "Mimi" Fecik of White Oak, grandchildren, Steven C. Fecik, Erin Wallace, Valerie Lynn Khaskin, Boris Khaskin, and Katelynn Fecik, and great-grandchildren, Giovanna, Fiona, Boris, Penelope and Caleb Lee.

He was the owner of Duquesne Metal Products “DMP,” and also the owner of Kennywood Cycle Center. He was a former member of the former First United Methodist Church of Duquesne. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia  (Bair) Crowe; father of Kimberly Ann (A.J.) Crowe-Lescinsky, of Lincoln Boro, and Stephen (Michelle Noonan) Crowe II; grandfather of Samuel M. Crowe. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 2-9 p.m.     at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Avenue, Duquesne, PA, 412-466-3300, at which time services will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Bob Cherep officiating.

Edward G. Yonika, age 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 7, 2017. He was born August 16, 1942 in Wilkinsburg, a son of the late Edward M. and Mary E. (Chismar) Yonika. Ed was a longtime active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, where he served as a council member and usher. He was an Air Force veteran that worked for Westinghouse and then retired from Astro Automation in Irwin. He was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels, loved gardening and his grandchildren, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He made everyone smile with his sense of humor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Vera Yonika and his brother John Yonika. He is survived by his wife of over 35 years Sandra Lynn (Hice) Yonika; children Maria Nicholson of McKeesport, Geoffrey (Laurie) Yonika of Eighty Four, Kristi (Joseph) Maywood of North Irwin and Karl (Paring) Basa of Oviedo, FL; grandchildren Samantha, Thomas, Joshua, Hannah, Nathan, Kristian, and Alyssa; brothers Michael (Linda) Yonika of South Hadley, MA, and Joseph Yonika of North Braddock; sisters Bernadette Bateman of Armburst and Lucille (Greg) DiNardo of Forest Hills; also nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alan “Pete” D. Cox of Jeannette; children, Donald (Jeanine) Snider of Scottdale, PA; Daniel Snider of Jamestown, SC; Denise (Gerald) Eisaman of Elizabeth Twp.; Susan Cox of North Versailles; David (Michelle) Cox of Orting, WA; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles Thompson, Jr.; and sister, Grace Thompson.
