Thomas George Pastor, 80, of Fayetteville, PA, and formerly of Glassport, PA, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 10, 1936 in Glassport, PA, he was the son of the late George and Anastasia Zakczewski Pastor. Tom was a graduate of Glassport High School and attended both Penn State and Duquesne Universities. He served honorably with the US Army and the National Guard. Tom worked most of his life in finance, as Manager at Associates Financial Services in McKeesport, PA for twenty-five years and then as the Mortgage Closing and Appraisal Officer at Allegheny Mortgage Corporation in White Oak, PA. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #600, and Joe Stickell American Legion Post 15.

Francis J. Casey, age 91, of McKeesport, died August 18, 2017, at Riverside Nursing Center. Born December 6, 1925, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Francis Casey and the husband of the late Joyce (Hrapchak) Casey. Francis was retired from US Steel National Tube Works. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during WWII. He was a member of the former St. Pius V Church. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Swartz; grandchildren, Charles and Desiree Swartz; great grandchildren, Cherri and Brandi Halfhill; great great grandchild, Lyric. In addition to his parents and wife, Francis was also preceded in death by a great grandchild, Andrew Mcgee. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the time of blessing service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Fr. Matthew Elanjileth will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.

Arlene Rose Findura, 71, of White Oak, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Arlene was born August 16, 1946 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Maneer. . She is survived by her husband, Jack W. "Wolfman" Findura, (past-secretary of Joppa Lodge F & AM), daughters, Tracy Marie (George) Orbin of White Oak and Elizabeth Ann (Joseph) Kulasa of Coulter, brother, Frank (Bonnie) Maneer of Bowie, MD, grandchildren, Peyton and Delaney Stajduhar, Jocelyn Orbin and River Joseph Kulasa, cousin, Janet (Don) Williams of North Versailles, nieces and nephews. Arlene was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Christy Park and was a Manager at the former Hills Department Store. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Parish on Friday August 25, at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Thomas Galvin, officiating. Kimberly M. Kiraly, age 70 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, died Friday, August 11, 2017. She was born in McKeesport on April 24, 1947, the daughter of the late John J. and Betty Yotter Stanich. Kimberly is survived by her daughters; Amy (Harry) Austin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kathy (Bill) Nagy of York, PA, Jennifer (Jim)Blair of Overbrook, Jill (Michael) Clark of Dormont, sister; Michelle (Emil) Olson of Jefferson Hills, brothers; John (Cyndy) Stanich of Bethel Park, James (Debbie) Stanich of Ruffsdale, William (Barbara) Stanich of Reading, PA, grandchildren; Tiffany (Brian) Jacobs, Sarah Austin, Harry Austin, Jiri Nagy, Zachary Blair, Dylan Blair, Carly Blair, Melanie Nagy, and Jonathan Nagy, also 1 great grandchild Jackson Jacobs.

Edward J. Bolga, age 82 of North Huntingdon, died August 18, 2017 at Transitions Healthcare. Born June 9, 1935 in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Cservenyak) Bolga and the beloved husband of Sylvia (Cernava) Bolga for 33 years. Ed was an Air Force Veteran, and while in the service, he was a jet engine mechanic. After serving for over 4 years in the military, he was honorably discharged and took up the trade of carpentry. He loved his trains, garden, and polka dancing. In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by brother, James (Jean) Bolga; sister, Margie (Michael) Stefanko; brother-in-law, Tom Madden; nieces and a nephew, Jeannie Sonnenberg, Kathy (Michael) Osiecki and Michael (Missy) Madden; great nieces and great nephews, Samantha, Sierra , Malone, and Macklen. He was preceded in death by his first wife Kay Fleming and a sister, Maryann Madden. Karen (Sheilds) Knight, age 62 of Augusta, GA, formerly of McKeesport, died August 17, 2017 at home in Georgia. Born January 16, 1955 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Gertrude (Miller) Sheilds and wife of Jarvis C. Knight, Sr. Karen worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Briarcliff Nursing Home and then went on to raise her children and grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren dearly. In addition her husband, she is survived by children, Billie Jo Eastman, Eric (Danielle) Demeri, and Ruth; grandchildren, Nick, Chelsea, Melissa, Derek, Eric, Butters, Ian, Owen, and Eli; siblings, William, Mary Ellen, Bethany, and Timothy. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clinton and Luke. Michelle Ann "Mickey" Malloy Coughlin, 56, of Versailles, died peacefully at home on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born February 19, 1961 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Mark Thomas and Joan Zuzo Malloy. She was a devoted mother, loving and helpful to all, had an awesome sense of humor and was truly one of a kind. She will be sincerely missed by all who had the opportunity to know her and love her. Norma Jean (Ault-Stumme) Stover, age 82 of West Newton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born June 19, 1935 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William E. Ault and Anna Naomi (Grant-Ault) Bales. A graduate of McKeesport Area High School Class of 1953, Norma Jean was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in McKeesport. Throughout her life, Norma (Mean-Jean) enjoyed every life milestone to the fullest. She enjoyed scratch off tickets and playing her daily numbers. She loved music and played the piano, and was a member of the Tennis Team in high school. Along with gardening, sewing, baking, swimming (floating in her pool), dancing, and ‘marching’, she was a long time marching aide and assistant with the McKeesport Majorette Drill Team, Drum and Bugle Corps, from 1965 to 1987. She also enjoyed several activities all involving her children and grandchildren, including being a Den Mother for Boy Scouts of America. She proudly wore her McKeesport Tiger Attire to all band tournaments and parades and would always say “Once a Tiger always a Tiger.
