Pauline L. Belfiore, 76, of Glassport died Friday September 20, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Larry Przywarty and Gladys (Murphy) Spanbaur. She was preceded in death by her husband William Belfiore Sr. She is survived by her daughter Vicki (Joe) Hoffman; sons Douglas (Marlana) Belfiore, and Timothy (Dee) Belfiore; grandchildren Christopher, Kristin, Steven, Austin, Hunter, Brianna, David, Logan, Andrew, Patty, Malek, and Lana; and also 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Friends received at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8.

Joseph John Irmer, Jr., age 63 of White Oak and originally of Oakland, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 in UPMC Shadyside.  Born February 22, 1956 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Joseph J. Irmer, Sr. and Dorothy (Lesniak) Irmer.  A retired millwright with US Steel - Irvin Works who also worked at LTV Steel, Joseph attended St. Angela Merici Parish in White Oak.  A selfless and strong man with an equally strong faith, his family will remember him as an amazing husband, father, and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years Christine M. (Gallagher) Irmer; his daughter Heather Jo (Matt) LiVorio of Cranberry; his sons Joseph J. Irmer, III, John A. Irmer, Gus Irmer, and Jimmy Irmer, all of White Oak; grandchildren Vincent, Anthony, and Matthew LiVorio; his siblings Dorothy "Binnie" Sterns of Olney, MD, Joann (Greg) Casile of Fox Chapel, and Francis (Mary) Irmer of Pymatuning; many nieces and nephews; and also his dog Montey, a.k.a Easy LaMont.

John J. Evans, 92, of West Mifflin, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2019, in UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh. Born on November 1, 1926, in Samudovce, Slovakia, he was the son of the Late John and Elizabeth (Andrejo) Evans. Mr. Evans was a faithful member of SS Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, where he served as Cantor from 1972 until 2014. He also was a member of the Byzantine Catholic Archieparchial Choir of Pittsburgh, a retired Design Draftsman for the former U.S. Steel Corporation, Homestead Works, and a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army. beloved husband of the Late Helen Mihalov Evans, he is survived by his loving children Daniel J. Evans (Elaine), Pamela A. Donkin (Wayne) and Patricia M. Weidman (Dennis); eight Grandchildren, Jennifer M. Magee (Shawn), Gregory D. Evans (Sarah), Nicholas J. Evans, Amy Cinci (Chris), Kimberly Donkin, Adam Churchill, Jeremy Churchill (Kelly), and Tyler Churchill; and four Great Grandchildren, Emma Kate Magee, Anna Magee, Theodore Evans, and Carter Cinci.

Paula D. Kelley, 63, of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at AHN Jefferson Hospital, surrounded with family and loved ones.
 
She was born on October 13, 1955 to the late Duffy Kelley, and Vivian Johnson Kelley
 
She enjoyed attending Morning Star Baptist Church of Clairton, along with Sunday services at Carver Hall where she resided as often as her health allowed. Paula was a loving Homemaker for many years. Providing love, and peace to her family and the community. In her spare time she enjoyed to play bingo and card games with her family, and winding down her nights relaxing and enjoying the fun game of Candy Crush until she would fall asleep.  
 
Paula leaves to cherish her memory , daughter, Keonna S. Whetsell of Elizabeth, PA; son, Christopher C. Kerney (Crystal) of Clairton; brother, Eugene L (Lisa) Kelley of McKeesport; six grandchildren; Daevon, Zalae', Zoel, Cierra, Cayden, and Cori and one great grand-son; Daevon Jr.

Dolores M. Solomon, age 87, of McKeesport, died September 15, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital. Born January 24, 1932, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary Varkonda and the wife of the late Leo Solomon.
Dolores was a soft-spoken, sweet lady that had kindness and compassion for everyone. She was a selfless caregiver who dedicated her life to her family and home. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending all of their school events. Dolores was a life-long member of the former Holy Trinity Church of McKeesport and a current member of St. Patrick's Church.

Jones, 78, of White Oak, died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at her home.  Born in McKeesport, February 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Attorney T.C. and Helen Borland Jones, Jr.  Professor emeritus at California University and professor of sociology at CCAC, she was a member and elder of Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church, past president and member of Altrusa, past president and member of McKeesport College Club, member of the McKeesport Heritage Center, and a graduate of American University.  She is survived by her brother, James “Mac” McClintock (Josephine) Jones of N. Huntingdon; sister in law, Shirley Jones of Latrobe; nieces and nephews including Susan Jones Mullins of Grundy, VA; Cynthia Jones Osselborn of Hermine; James M. (Cindy) Jones of Springdale, OH; Harry M. (Renee) Jones, Jr. of Scottdale; Jennifer Jones (William) Seymour of Skokie, IL; T.C. (Patti) Jones III of Irwin; Timothy W. (Lisa) Jones of Cincinnati, OH; Elizabeth Jones (Donald) Cool of Waynesboro; Jeffery B. Jones of Montgomery, TX; and Wendy Jones (John) Wagnon of Hernando, MS, and was preceded in death by John Gregg Jones, Daniel W. Jones, Sr., and Elizabeth Joy Steban.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Sampson’s Mills Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jessica McClure Archer and the Rev. Timothy W. Jones officiating.  Interment will be in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.  Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA  15132 is in charge of arrangements.

 


Austin Taylor Fagan

Austin Taylor Fagan, 23 of McKeesport, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in McKeesport, PA.

Austin was born August 20, 1996 at UPMC Magee Hospital.  He attended McKeesport, High School and graduated class of 2014.  While in high school, he was actively involved in playing basketball, baseball, and football.  Austin furthered his education by attending the University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus.  He was a former employee with the City of McKeesport for 9 years.  He started out as a summer employee working his way up the ranks to a fulltime permanent employee. He then began a new career as a laborer with Banks Gas Services in North Versailles.  Austin was an avid sports fan and follower of the great sports teams here in the ‘Burg’ - he “Bled” Black and Gold!!

He was a member of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh and occasionally visited Bethlehem Baptist Church of McKeesport where his family attends.

Austin loved family, being around friends, had “swag” and a great sense of humor.  He had a love for good food, music, being around people of all ages.  He was a true friend to his friends—ready and willing at a moment’s notice to be there for each of them for the sake of friendship.  Austin’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donations.. his organs have restored life’s promise for many families..and for this, we his family, know that his love and zest for life will live on in others.

She was preceded  in death by her son Robert "Bobby" Williams Hott.  Lydia was a member of the Glassport Assembly of God; Ladies Auxillary Post 443 and volunteered at the food bank.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home Mon. from 2 to 4.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
