Harriet S. Amabile, age 100, of McKeesport, died January 4, 2026, at Riverside Nursing Home. Born December 1, 1925, in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Dora (Nathan) Samuels.

Harriet dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. In her early years she worked at the former White Star Laundry. She belonged to the Gemilas Chesed Synagogue, where she was a part of the Sisterhood, preparing meals for weddings and events. She loved attending bingo and cooking. Although, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons.

Harriet is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Amabile and Rosella Moslander; grandsons, Edward Moslander and Richard Moslander; and niece, Tammy Hofferbert.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Rosalind Hofferbert.
Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory.
A graveside service and burial will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 10 a.m., at New Gemilas Chesed Cemetery located at 193 Upper Heckman Rd., North Versailles, PA 15137.
