June Ann (Mansfield) Kalkbrenner, of Elizabeth, PA, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, at age 89. We rejoice that she is now in the Heavenly Home, prepared for her by her Lord and Savior, and reunited with the great love of her life.
In her lifetime, June had many loves. She loved her husband, Donald L. Kalkbrenner, Sr., devotedly for their 43 years together on this earth and then the next 25 years while she remained without him. She loved her family fiercely. She loved Jesus reverently. She enjoyed a love/hate relationship with all Pittsburgh sports teams, but especially her Pittsburgh Pirates. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and Jeopardy! She was affectionately known as "Gug" by some of her very favorite people.
June is survived by her children, Donald Jr. (Lucinda) and Mary Ann Westfall (Greg); her grandchildren, Ali, Kallyn McDonnell (Conner), Kelsey Westfall, and Jake (Lindsey); her great-granddaughter, Sophie; her sister, Ruth Geissler (Bud), and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kalkbrenner, Sr., her parents, Merle and Anne Mansfield, and her brothers, Frank and Ken Mansfield.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11 AM at First Evangelical Free Church, 4001 University Drive, McKeesport, PA 15132. Arrangements were entrusted to Willig Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
