Jennifer L. Hreha, age 39, of White Oak, died at home on September 6, 2021, due to complications from Diabetes.  Born September 28, 1981, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Duane and Deborah (Cooper) Hreha.  
Jennifer began her career with UPMC as a customer service representative, but with her positive attitude and exceptional performance, she was promoted to Coordinator, member services. She cherished her nephew Theo and enjoyed their time spent together doing crafts. Jennifer was a kind, loving person who cherished the time spent with her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand when you needed her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jessica (Adam) Nelson; aunt, Jackie Deet; uncles, John Cooper, Michael (Cathy) Cooper, Frank (Gennie) Hreha, and David (Mary Beth) Hreha and many cousins.  
She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Agnes Cooper, Frank and Ina Hreha, and a cousin who was like a sister, Michelle Deet.

Margaret “Peggy” Herman Pacich, age 78, passed away in Wesley Chapel, FL, on August 31, 2021. Peggy was born on July 9, 1943 to David and Mary Hulda Herman in Clairton, PA.  There she graduated from Clairton High School, class of 1961. Soon after, she married her husband George Pacich, also from Clairton. Together, the two moved around, living in Baldwin and Bethel Park, before moving to Florida for the remainder of their lives. During her life, Peggy stayed busy. She worked in commercial property management, and she loved her job. She raised her four children: George D. (Daisy Landes) Pacich, Mark (Natalie) Pacich , Kirstin (Pete) Williams, and Patricia Trout. She became a grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Alexa, Adam, Sam, Nate, Idanya, and Luka.

Mary Felicia Iski

Mary Felicia Iski, 78, of Pennsburg, passed away September 4, 2021.  She was the widow of Joseph E. Iski, who passed in 2016.  Born in McKeesport, Pa, she was the daughter of the late John & Felicia (Mustacchio) Pausic.  Mary Felicia was a graduate of Duquesne University, and later went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Library Science.

She taught at Rittenhouse Middle School and Eisenhower Middle School in Norristown and was the schools’ librarian for many years. Mary Felicia was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.  She loved her hats and was a member of the Red Hat Society.  Mary Felicia was a voracious reader, loved the theater, and traveling with her husband.  She also had a love of her German Shepherds, Rula and J.D.

Mary O’Keefe Davis, 79, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Wandsworth, Surry, England, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. She was born June 3, 1942, in England during an air raid, to the late John “Jack” and Gwendolynn “Nell” Vivian O’Keefe. Mary passed while in the loving care of her son David and daughter-in-law Sunny with whom she resided during her final days. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family. Mary’s legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren honoring our British and Welsh customs.

Robert J. Butella, Sr., age 91, of West Mifflin, passed away on September 6, 2021, at Grandview Estates, Elizabeth. Born in Clairton on June 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Hunar) Butella. He was a retired Mail Carrier from the Duquesne Post Office and later the Mail Truck Delivery person. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-Holy Trinity Church and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was the husband of the late Dolores “Dolly” (Kushnir) Butella; father of Robert J. Butella Jr. of Elizabeth, Gary Butella of West Mifflin and Ronald (Anne) Butella of Perryopolis; grandfather of Robert (Hillary) Butella III, Bryan Butella, Brandon Butella, Ashley (Steven) Curry and Joshua (Brandi) Butella; 4 great grandchildren; brother of Donald (Theresa) Butella, Marian Dimpel, Eleanor Bane and late Nicholas (late Martha) Butella. There will be no public visitation. A Blessing Service will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Edward G. Babyak, age 86, of White Oak, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2021. He was born in McKeesport on Aug. 16, 1935 and is the son of the late George and Caroline Vukelic Babyak. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Babyak.

Lawrence "JR" Wilson, Jr

Lawrence "JR" Wilson, Jr., 85, of Monroeville, died Sept. 4, 2021.  He is the beloved husband of the late Geraldine "Geri" Wilson.  He is survived by his sister-in-law Joan Drosdick and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Crystal and son Larry. He enjoyed helping Geri taking care of her Seeing Eye German Sheperds Bouquet, Pride, Neon and Olina. JR was retired from Firestone, where he worked for 23 years and Giant Eagle where he worked for 22 years.   JR joined the Monroeville Lions Club in 1982 where he served as Club President from 2005- 2006 and then became a member of the White Oak Lions Club where he continued to be very active until his death.  He was also a member of the Wilkins Elks Lodge #577 for over 20 years and rarely missed a meeting.  He was a huge Pittsburgh sport fan, including the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.  A memorial service will be held on Sat., Sept. 11 at 11am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monroeville outside at the gazebo.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilkins Elks Lodge #577 Scholarship Fund.

Born in Pittsburgh, on October 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John & Alice (Usova) Kraljevic.  She was the wife of the late Michael O’Malley; mother of Alicia O’Malley (Rafael) Fraguada and the late Patrick (surviving spouse, Kathryn) O’Malley of Singapore; grandmother of Michelle (Isaac) Steele, Ronin O’Malley, Michael Fraguada, and Lorraine Fraguada; great grandmother of Gabriel Fraguada. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 8:30-9:30 a.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 412-466-3300, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Good Shepherd Church, Braddock. Interment will follow in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

She retired from Chubb and Son Group Insurance Company as an Internal Auditor. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Grygo, daughter, Dr. Patricia A. (John Hogan) Jameson of Pittsburgh, brother, Paul (Carmella) Krutz of Greenock, grandsons, Robert T. Jameson and Thomas S. Jameson, and nephews, Vennie (Terry) Krutz and J. Anthony (Suzanne) Curcio. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Jameson who passed away August 9, 2016. There is no visitation. Virginia (Perich) Pekala, age 100 of Clairton, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the John J. Kane Regional Center, McKeesport.  Born March 24, 1921 in Munhall, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Tomas) Perich.  Prior to having children, Virginia worked as a secretary for US Steel National Tube Works in Christy Park.  Virginia was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church and a woman of great faith, who dutifully prayed her rosary daily.  She also enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino.  Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Elmer J. Pekala, who passed away in November of 1999, and her siblings Mary Matesic, Mildred Dobrick, Olga Kensky, and John and Anthony Perich.  She is survived by her sons David (Linda) Pekala of Parker, CO, and Eric (Debi) Pekala of Elizabeth, her daughter Maureen (Tim) Tackett of Pittsburgh; her grandchildren Matthew (Stephanie) Pekala of Marlton, NJ, Megan (Timothy) Lindsey of Highlands Ranch, CO, Brian (Jenni Simek) Tackett of Kenmore, NY, Lauren (Nate Haynes) Tackett of Lexington, KY, Tara (Salvatore Stojakovich) Pekala of Clairton, and Macy (Shawn Miller) Pekala of Pittsburgh; her great-grandchildren Jude Pekala, Jackson Lindsey, and Makiya Miller; her nieces Sandy Sivak, Paula Kensky, and Marlene Koshar; and her nephew George Dobrick.
