Patricia L. Highberger, age 79, of White Oak, died October 6, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 10, 1942, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Karnas) Mularski and the wife of the late Jay C. "Punk" Highberger.
Pat retired from McKeesport Hospital, where she worked as a switchboard operator. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended Corpus Christi Church. Pat was also a member of the North Versailles Senior Place. She enjoyed cooking and attending bingo.

Vincent A. Maizer, Jr., age 77, of White Oak, formerly of McKeesport, died October 7. 2021, at UPMC McKeesport. Born October 28, 1943, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Vincent A. Sr. and Mary Louise (Miller) Mazier and the husband of Frances (Stibrik) Maizer.
Vince retired from US Steel, National Tube Works, where he was a pipe inspector. Afterward, he worked for J.C. Penney Co., in the maintenance department and, Giant Eagle, in the produce department. He was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish. Vince was also a member of the PNA #352 and 11th Ward Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

Raymond "Slats" E. Weigand, Jr

Raymond "Slats" E. Weigand, Jr., age 100, of Liberty Borough, died October 4, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born August 25, 1921, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Weigand, Sr. and Anne (Weller) Weigand and husband of the late Christine Weigand.

Raymond was a World War II Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Alabama, working his way through the ranks to gunner's mate second class and always looked forward to reunions with Veterans from his ship.  He was awarded the Ushakov Medal from the Russian Government due to having served during Allied missions in the Arctic Circle in the early 1940s.  Raymond worked as a Dairyman with Menzie Dairy, then Turner Dairy Farm.  He was the Boy Scout Troop 53 leader for 35 years and enjoyed all scout activities and traveling with the Scouts to Europe.  Ray was a member of Teamsters Local 205.  He loved time spent with his grandchildren and smoking cigars.

Kuk, age 94, of Port Vue, died September 29, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 29, 1927, in Glassport, she was the daughter of the late Zygmunt and Leokadya (Gniazdowski) Ruszkoski and wife of the late Edward J. Kuk. Anna was a member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, and the Polish National Alliance 750 in Glassport.  She loved jigsaw puzzles and sewing.  When her five daughters were younger, she would sew them dresses.  She was well known for the delicious cookies she baked for different family functions.

Greta Lynn Goss, age 50, of White Oak, died October 1, 2021, at home. Born March 8, 1971, in Key West, FL, she was the daughter of Gary and Anita (Maksin) Dahmen of White Oak and the wife of Robert "Jason" Goss.

Greta loved nature, animals, and caring for her family. Greta leaves behind her beloved and loyal dog, Andrew, and her feline friends, Tuck, Hannah, and Pixie. She especially enjoyed "birding" with her husband and cherished the time they shared.

Shirley L. Johnston, age 95, of Monroeville, died September 29, 2021, at home.  Born October 29, 1925, in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Niskosky) Sophia and wife of the late Edward E. Johnston.  
Shirley began her career at Westinghouse and then would retire from the McKeesport School District in the Administration Office.  When she was younger, she played the piano, organ and was a soloist at Christian Life Church in Trafford.  Shirley adored her grandchildren and loved to play Uno and Scrabble with them.

Gloria B. Sollosi, of McKeesport, died September 28th, 2021, at home. Born November 15, 1936, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Kakas) DiPerna. She was the wife of Michael T. Sollosi and they were married for 66 years.
Gloria was a graduate of St. Peter High School in McKeesport. She worked for over 30 years in the admissions department of McKeesport Hospital. She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Church, and Mary, Mother of God Parish, Gloria was active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and The Ladies of Charity. She enjoyed bingo, casinos, baking, crocheting, sewing, helping her granddaughter Angie with her ancestry tree, and loved collecting Pandas.

Dorothy J. Bishop, age 88, of White Oak, died September 24, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport. Born August 13, 1933, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Blanche (Olszewski) Wise and the wife of the late Martin "Marty" Bishop, Jr., for 50 years.

She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, where she was a Christian Mother. She was a graduate of Westinghouse High School. In her early years, she worked as a secretary at Westinghouse Electric of East Pittsburgh. Dorothy also worked at the former White Oak Marraccini's and the former Golden Rule. She enjoyed going for walks around her neighborhood and was a very loving and caring person.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Donald Bishop of Irwin; sister Dolores Mols of McKeesport; also many nieces and nephews.

Marcia worked for many years at the Palace Inn and then for Stratwood Catering.  She loved going to the beach, especially yearly trips to Ocean City and walking along the boardwalk.  She also enjoyed trying her luck at the Rivers and Meadows Casino.  Her time spent with her grandchildren was what she cherished most.

Mary Nicoludis, age 84, of White Oak, died September 19, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  Born June 15, 1937, in Kalavarda, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Emmanouel and Despina (Zervos) Maroulakis.

Mary was a hairstylist and owned a shop most of her career.  Later in life, she still enjoyed cutting and styling hair for friends.  As a long-time member of Annunciation of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in White Oak, she cherished the friendships made over the years there, and they became a part of her family.

John A. Criscuolo, age 79, of McKeesport, died on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born in Hells Kitchen of Manhattan, NY. He was the son of the late Neil and Francis (Yurjevsic) Criscuolo and the husband of Sandra (Heath) Criscuolo for 54 years.
John retired from Roadway Express, where he was a truck driver. He started his career with Farkas Trucking and continued to drive for over 60 years. One of his proudest moments was being part of a 100 truck convoy delivering fuel to New Orleans for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. John was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended St. Patrick Church of Christy Park. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and received an award from the Bishop for his service. Above all, John found joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

Jennifer L. Hreha, age 39, of White Oak, died at home on September 6, 2021, due to complications from Diabetes.  Born September 28, 1981, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Duane and Deborah (Cooper) Hreha.  
Jennifer began her career with UPMC as a customer service representative, but with her positive attitude and exceptional performance, she was promoted to Coordinator, member services. She cherished her nephew Theo and enjoyed their time spent together doing crafts. Jennifer was a kind, loving person who cherished the time spent with her family. She was always there to lend a helping hand when you needed her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Jessica (Adam) Nelson; aunt, Jackie Deet; uncles, John Cooper, Michael (Cathy) Cooper, Frank (Gennie) Hreha, and David (Mary Beth) Hreha and many cousins.  
She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Agnes Cooper, Frank and Ina Hreha, and a cousin who was like a sister, Michelle Deet.

Dorothy E. Donnelly, age 95, of Coulter, died August 29, 2021, at Kane Community Living Center McKeesport.  Born November 7, 1925, in Coulterville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Dreer) Donnelly. 

Dorothy retired from G.C. Murphy and was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. 

She is survived by nieces, Margie (Chuck) Heidenfelder, Mary Ann (Larry) Sutton, Mary Ann Ryan, Debra Higgins, Janet Harvey, Marlene Reccelle, and Linda Hill; nephews, Jack Donnelly, Thomas Belan, Rick Donnelly, Lane Donnelly, Howard Donnelly, Edward Donnelly, Bryan Donnelly, Chuck Evans, Rusty Donnelly, and many great-nieces and nephews; also sister-in-law, Geraldine Donnelly. 

She was also preceded in death by siblings, Albert Donnelly, Harry Donnelly, Howard Donnelly, Marie Butler, and Margaret Belan; nephews, James, William, and Stanley Butler, for whom she cared.
