Russell W. Jones, age 76, of White Oak, died on December 5, 2022, at home. Born May 27, 1946, in McKeesport, he is the son of the late Jack and Ethel (Hurst) Jones and the significant other of Carol Basista.

Russell retired from the former Arrow Company, where he was a cement truck driver. In his earlier years, he worked at National Tube Works as a machinist. Russell served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed bowling, billiards, and gambling. Russell and Carol shared many trips to Atlantic City, Las Vegas and many cruises.
He is survived by his children; Allen (Michelle Kolick) Jones of Irwin, Gary (Lori Reitz) Jones of White Oak, Mark (Jammie Dietz) Jones of North Versailles, grandchildren; Carlee, Shawn, Ricki, Carson, Brett, Chasity, and Alexis, great-grandchild; Carson, brothers; Kenneth (Sue) Jones of Fayette City, and Richard Jones of Pembroke, FL, sister-in-law; Terri Jones of North Versailles; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Russell was also preceded in death by his brother, Barry Jones, and nephew, Gregory Jones.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Military honors will be on Sunday, 9:30 a.m., at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
