Theresa Baldovski, age 88 of Clairton, passed away on January 14, 2019 in Southwestern Nursing Center. A member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church — where she was involved with Ladies Guild, Rosary Society, Sodality and regularly volunteered — she was also a member of AARP Clairton Hill Chapter #2862. Theresa was born on July 23, 1930, in Elrama to the late Alexander and Theresa (Buchina) Glegyak. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Baldovski, who passed away February 25, 2012.

Robert P. Boor, age 76, of Glassport, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian. He retired as an electrician for U.S. Steel Irvin Works and Metal Tech of Pittsburgh. A Navy veteran, he was a former South Allegheny School Board director. He was a member of PNA Lodge 750 in Glassport, VFW Post 803 in Wilson, Club 22 of the Glassport Fire Co., and the Catholic Men's Organization's Duckpin Bowling League. He was an avid boater and member of the Mon Valley Speed Boat Club.

Agnes M. Mykich, age 94 of Clairton, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Arrowwood at Southwestern. Born February 2, 1924 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Bela and Anne (Stanic) Demko. A member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, the former St. Joseph's Church and its Christian Mothers, Agnes worked as a bookkeeper at US Steel Clairton Works. In her spare time, she loved to bowl, go to the casino (especially the Meadows,) and was a die-hard Steelers and Pirates fan. Her family will remember her, though, as a kind, thoughtful, and generous woman with a great sense of humor; but, most of all, as an amazing mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

He is survived by his sister Darlene (Sam) Reitz of Export, his companion Frances V. Carvili of North Versailles, and also nieces and nephews. The co-owner and bookkeeper of the former Barella's Lounge in Jefferson Hills, Betty also worked as a seamstress and payroll clerk for the US Army during World War II. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and loved going to her place in the mountains, but her family will remember her most as a strong and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

William Levi Truax, age 82, of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at home. He was a retired school principal for the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of the Daniel Keffer American Legion Post 75 in Clairton. He enjoyed hunting and softball. Born April 21, 1936 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Lee and Mabel (Garland) Truax. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Ann (DePasquali) Truax; and a niece and several nephews. Arnold J. Mosa, Sr., age 87 of McKeesport and formerly of Glassport, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in the VA Hospital Healthcare System in Oakland. Born September 27, 1931 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Joseph and Clara (Schmidt) Mosa. Retired from Copperweld in Glassport, Arnold was a Korean War Veteran of the US Army and a member of the former St. Mary's German Church in McKeesport. He was also a member of the 11th Ward Club, the CFU in Versailles, and the Elizabeth Ex-Servicemen's Association. He joins his wife, the late Elizabeth (Asmondy) Mosa, who passed away November 23, 2017.

Jeremy worked as a truck driver for Waste Management. Shirley Ann (Caulfield) Barnes, age 86 of Versailles, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Concordia of Monroeville where she resided. She was born February 21 1932 in McKeesport to the late Richard J. and Margaret C. (McCarren) Caulfield and was a graduate of McKeesport High School. Afterwards, Shirley worked as a secretary for Fisher Body of West Mifflin until her marriage. When her children were grown, she worked for the McKeesport Chamber of commerce. Shirley always worked tirelessly at home for her family. She was an avid sewer and quilter and she and her daughter Susan belonged to a local quilting club and enjoyed making quilts and blankets for those in need. She was a skilled seamstress who made beautiful clothing and other items for her family. She also baked delicious bread and canned fruits and vegetables from her large garden and fruit trees.
