Carmen P. Brusco, age 87 of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born March 6, 1933 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Vincent and Virginia (Martini) Brusco.  A graduate of Clairton High School, Carmen was a retired truck mechanic for Continental Baking Company, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of Holy Spirit Parish in West Mifflin, and a member of the Clairton AARP #1612.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years Sherry (Simpson) Brusco; his son Paul Brusco of West Mifflin; his sisters-in-law Patricia Brusco of Clairton and Marlyn Leonard of Mt. Pleasant; his nieces Debbie, Lisa, Carol, and Wendy; and his nephews Barry and Gary.  Besides his parents, Carmen was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Brusco.

Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 5th. St., Clairton, PA 15025 (412-233-5700) on Wednesday, July 30, 2020 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  Only twenty-five people will be permitted at a time; masks are required; CDC and State guidelines will be observed; and social distancing will be enforced on funeral home property.  Mass of Christian Burial and procession to the cemetery will be private.  Memorial contributions in Carmen's name should be made to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
