Frank was an officer of McKeesport PNA lodge 352 for over 40 years, where he enjoyed many years of friendship and comradery. Another great joy in his life was his hunting camp in Venango County which he shared with his hunting buddies. During the depression, Frank joined the CCC and was sent to Renovo, PA to earn money to help support his family.  World War II made Frank a soldier at age 25 as a member of Company B 311th engineer combat battalion, where he specialized in Highway Construction and was also qualified as a sharpshooter.  His honors include the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Victory Medal, American Theater Ribbon, and the Europe Asia Middle East Theater Ribbon with 1 bronze star.  After the war, Frank continued working for US Steel Christy Park Works as a crane operator.  He retired in 1981 with 40 years of service. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Father Steven Palsa officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at St. Mary Polish Cemetery.  The family so appreciates the many years of dedicated service provided by the East Allegheny Meals on Wheels, 249 Lincoln Highway, North Versailles, PA 15137.   If so inclined, donations to this wonderful organization would be greatly appreciated.  Condolences may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com
