A self employed mechanic, Lloyd loved anything with an engine, even doing some drag racing, and especially loved his baby: a blue 1968 Chevy Camaro RS.  However, even more than all of that, he loved his family most of all.  Besides his mother, Lloyd is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen (Munda) Palmer; his sons Curtis Palmer of Frederick, MD and Keith (Michelle) Palmer of Germantown, MD; his daughters Danielle (Brian, Sr.) Versetti of Munhall and Christy (Thomas) Michaels of Elizabeth; his grandchildren: Kai, Brooke, and Saige Palmer, Brian Jr., Bailey, Hope, and Faith Versetti, and Kennedy Michaels; his sisters Ingrid (Harry) Davis of Mt. Airy, MD and Carol (Russ) Iverson of North Carolina; and also several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 11 AM until a 12 Noon Blessing, in the funeral home, with Fr. Thomas Wagner officiating.  Interment will be private.  Lloyd's family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family, in care of the funeral home, or be made in his name to the Colon Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave., Ste. 1066, Washington, DC 20005.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
