Mary Jane Rhoades, 90, of Elizabeth Township, died Sunday, August 28, 2016 at home. She was born November 28, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Gilchrist Blank. She was wife of the late William H. Rhoades who died October 1, 2008. She is survived by her son, William L. (Mary) Rhoades of Jefferson Hills, and daughters, Janet L. Cheeseman and Sharon (Robert) Shelton of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Thomas (Danielle) Rhoades of Buena Vista, Jennifer (Greg) Rudzke of Ruffsdale, Tina (James) Kasardo of Elizabeth Township, Matthew (Deneeya) Wall of Scott Township, great-grandchildren, Gabriel Kasardo, Matthew and Maxwell Wall, Garrett and Jeffrey Rudzke, and Dakota Rhoades, and a niece, Sue Ann Eicker of Greenock.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Elizabeth Louise "Betty Lou" Eicker who died July 28, 2014. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., Wednesday, August 31 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 1, at 12:30 pm, with The Rev. Thomas Wagner, officiating.
