She was married to the late Richard M. Elko, Sr., who passed away November 26, 1988. Dolores was a homemaker and full time mom to her children. She was a member of the former St. Stephen Hungarian Church in McKeesport.

Bonnie Tarli Moranelli, 66, of Glassport passed away at home January 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 8, 1950 in McKeesport to the late Anthony and Dolly Brown Tarli. She is survived by her loving husband of 40+ years, Anthony (Bo) Moranelli. “Bozie” adored and took amazing care of his beloved “Bon Bon”. Along with her husband, Bonnie is survived by daughter, Heather (John) McDonald of Centerville; son Anthony “Tony” (Julie) Moranelli of Jefferson Hills; daughter Amy (Joe Nagy) Johnson of Glassport. She thought the sun rose and set around her grandchildren, Sara & Jason McClellan, Raya McDonald, Luke & Morgan Johnson, Livia & “baby-to be Anthony”. Bonnie is also survived by sisters, Susan (Jim) Fetter of VA, Linda Tarli of NY, & Mary Lou Skundrich of CA; brother Tony (Vicki) Tarli of Liberty Boro; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Bonnie was a kind, caring and giving person putting others first at all times. She was a past president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary at CHC #1, a past president of the South Allegheny Football Boosters, worked in the bakery at Giant Eagle Southland, was a cashier at Glassport Thrift Shop and a member of the Vermont Avenue Card Club. Bonnie was best known for the love she had for her family, her amazing lady locks, and the joy she received by feeding her family and friends. Family and friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm on Tuesday January 24, 2017 at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport, PA 15045. Kapolka; mother of twin sons, Dean (Ann Ringling) Kapolka of Hempfield and Donald (Lori McKay) Kapolka of Duquesne; grandmother of Alex and Lauren Kapolka; sister of the late Rose M. (late Edward F.) Fagan, late Bruno (late Ethel) Renda, late Joseph (late Anna) Renda, late Mary (late Jerry) Brunner, late John R. “Bob” (surviving spouse Anna Mae)  Renda, late Elizabeth “Betty” (late Joseph) Bosnyak, late Grace “Dolly” (late Patrick) Monaghan; special friend of Renee Raymond of Pleasant Hills; also nieces and nephews. Robert E. Locke, 90, of Jeannette, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Excela Health Westmoreland. He was born January 24, 1926 in Wilmerding, Pa., a son of the late Elmer and Mary Edith Attig Locke. Prior to his retirement, Robert worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation with 40 years of service and was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy where he served as a member of the band. He was a member of St. Agnes Parish, North Huntingdon where he was active in the music ministry, Men's Club, Extraordinary minister of the Eucharist, Pro-Life Committee, past president of the Emerald Club and Knights of Columbus Council 1222 Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alverna Bost Locke. He is survived by his son, Richard F. Locke and his wife, Mary Lou; daughter, Stephanie M. Sunder and her husband, Barry; four grandchildren, Richard E. and Katie Lou Locke, Makaila and Noah R. Sunder, grand dog Nellie. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8 p.m. at the James W. James “Jim” Jesse Lewis, 92, of Glassport, formerly of Baldwin, passed away at home on Thursday, January 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Perry, NY on April 10, 1924 to the late Mildred Schooley Lewis.  James was the loving husband for 15 years to the late Lois Beatrice Whitfield Lewis.  He is survived by daughter, Lisa (Anthony) M. Ficarri of Hampton; son, William Lewis of Brentwood; daughters Cynthia (Jeffrey) Yochum & Marjorie (Daniel) Rogiero both of Brentwood; grandchildren, Michael Mahoney of Hampton, Tony (Toni) Rogiero of Baldwin, Justin Rogiero, John Yochum, Brian Yochum & Amber Lewis all of Brentwood; great-grandchildren, Nikki, Katie, & Russell Lewis; very special niece Linda Lewis and nephew Brian Lewis. Along with his mother and wife, James was preceded in death by brothers, Timothy Lewis & George Lewis. James served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII as a member of the 22nd Troop Carrier Squadron in the Philippines. He was a salesman for Cole National Corp for over 50 years, receiving a “Salesman of The Year” award, an avid Steeler and Pirate fan, a member of North Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh, a lifetime member of American Legion Post 712 in Pleasant Hills and VFW Post 803 in Wilson, and to some was considered a “pool shark”. Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 12 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at E. C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Avenue, Glassport,  PA   15045. Dorene R. Bayura, age 72, of McKeesport, died on January 13, 2017 at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born August 14, 1944 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Elizabeth M. (Donovan) Skovran and the wife of the late Thomas L. Bayura Sr. Dorene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Grammy B). She retired as an assistant cook from the former Glennshire Woods nursing home where she worked for 12 years. It was pleasing to her to help cook for the residents and to make some very dear friends along the way, especially her co-workers from the kitchen. She was also a Vietnam War era veteran, serving in the Marines. She liked to cook, crochet, craft, enjoyed coloring as of lately, and loved reading Sci-Fi, romance, and fantasy novels. Dorene is survived by her children: Thomas L. (Angela) Bayura Jr, Dorene Bayura, and William J. Bayura; grandchildren: Hayden C. and Nathan T. Bayura; siblings: Joseph E. Skovran, Michael G. (Tess) Skovran, Joann (Lance) Behm, Joyce M. Skovran, John R. (Karen) Skovran, Cheryl A. (Joe) Yusavage and Elizabeth M. Skovran. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorene is preceded in death by siblings: Harriet Forrest, William A. Skovran and Anna Marie Skovran. Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1-3p.m. and 6-9p.m. A blessing service will be held at 8p.m. at the funeral home.
