Helen Miltenberger, age 45 of McKeesport, formerly of Johnstown, died May 15, 2017 at home. Born February 16, 1972 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of Alan and Sheila (Dunn) Miltenberger. Helen was a generous and giving person to everyone she knew. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family and grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Tyrone, Chanelle, Shawn (Danielle), and Chad Brookins; grandchildren, AraBella, Aria, Je’Lai, Wayne, Kayne, Ma’Lon, Nadia, and Lynell; nephew, Josh Farrior; and step-children, Latesha (Wayne Burnam) Brookins, Cedric Brookins, and Taymesha Smith. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy, Tangie, and Alan; and her niece, Jackie. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Unity Baptist in North Braddock. Stoyanka Popovich Vranesevich, age 90, of McKeesport, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Very Rev. Dr. Milan G. and Zoritza Popovich. She was born in Crepaya, Yugoslavia on October 16, 1926 and was preceded in death by her husband Milan and brothers Dushan and Stoyan Popovich. Stoyanka earned her B.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University (formerly Carnegie Technical Institute). She was a loving mother to her children Xenia and Milan of McKeesport, Zora Russell of Serento Florida, grandson George Russell and great grandson Dalton; brothers, retired Superior Court Judge Zoran Popovich of Myrtle Beach, SC; Ray (Shirley) Popovich of Greentree, PA, along with nieces and nephews. Stoyanka was an active member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church of McKeesport-Duquesne and choir member for more than twenty years. She was one of the founding members of the St. Sava Mothers’ Club and danced with the Balkan Dancers. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 23nd from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Striffler’s of White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, Supervisor 412-678-6177) with Mali Pomen Services at 7:30 pm. Lynne Ann Barnes, age 52, of White Oak, died May 18, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born July 25, 1964, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Miller) Oleska of White Oak and the wife of James R. Barnes also of White Oak. Lynne dedicated her life to caring for her family, particularly her son Jeff. She most recently worked as a bus monitor at Pennsylvania Coachlines and before that she worked as a care taker at the White Oak Village Apartments. Lynne was always more than willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed the outdoors and knew how to catch fish better than anyone.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lynne is survived by a son, Jeffrey Barnes of White Oak; sisters, Sherry (Oleska) Roskov of White Oak, Darla Oleska of McKeesport and Jodie Oleska of White Oak; brother-in-law, Franklin Barnes of Cannonsburg; nieces and nephews, Christi Roskov, Shawn Landstrom, Melanie and Taylor Ingersoll and Karrie Oleska; also many cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by her brother Michael Oleska.

Family and friends will be received at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jody Dausey will officiate.
