Lois Whitney Servov Clark, 86, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
She was born on June 29, 1934 in McKeesport, PA to Bill and Dorothy Whitney. She attended St. Peter’s High School in McKeesport, PA. Lois’ life work was most notably taking care of her children and grandchildren, but the family enjoyed listening to her stories about her employment for the city of McKeesport, PA and her time at Glass Motors in Gulfport, MS. She dearly loved spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and endlessly watching Shirley Temple movies.
She is survived by her daughter, Daryle Servov; grandchildren, Kara and Brady Davis, Jenna and Jason Carroll, Jarred and Haley Seymour, Kelsey and Matthew Brown; great-grandchildren, Whitney and Amelia Davis, Jaycee and Jules Carroll, Casen, Camille, Violet, and Jameson Seymour, and McCully and Eleanor Brown; and sister, Dorothy Mae Holtzman.

Patti G. Churley, age 77 of North Huntingdon died March 27, 2021 at Westmoreland Manor. She was born August 14, 1943 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Haines Patterson. Patti was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She enjoyed camping at Virginia's Beach Camp Ground in Erie, reading, lottery tickets and bingo. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles, three daughters, Vickie Dinkel (Kevin), Chris Aiello (Scott), Kara Cella (Paul Jr.), one brother, Tom Patterson (Bernie), one sister, Sharon DeVito, 5 grandchildren, Brittany, Kevin Jr.(Elizabeth), Anthony (Kayla), Krystal (Niko), Paul III (Elizabeth) and one great grandchild Memphis Bozich. Gary W. Rae, 66, of Port Vue, died March 27, 2021. He is the son of the late William and Edith (Clark) Rae and beloved husband of Barbara (McKnight) Rae. Gary is survived by his daughter Kylee Rae; son Vincent Rae; step son Derek (Dayna) Roskovski; step daughters Crystal (Brian) Gregor and Samantha (Chris) Moxley; grandchildren Joshua Faulkner and Alexa Lasher; step grandchildren Andrew, Bella, Sean, Brian, Aiden, Logan, Gavin, Megan, Mason and Caden; daughter-in-law Deneen Sobota; sister Jean Puglin; also many “favorite” nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Rae. Gary enjoyed football, baseball, country music, playing cards and hanging out in the backyard with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his yearly trip to Idlewild Park, where he took the entire family. Harold E. "Bud" Yarris, Jr., age 74, of Floreffe and formerly of Uniontown passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a Tool and Die Maker for Fisher Body in West Mifflin. He was a Navy veteran serving during Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Post 8 in Everett, PA. Born December 1, 1946 in Uniontown, PA, he was a son of the late Harold E. Yarris, Sr. and Doris (Murray) Yarris. He is survived by his daughters Valarie Becker of Pleasant Hills and Susan Reid of Tampa Bay, FL; grandchildren Sheri, Brandi, Sydney, Seth, Matthew, Tim and Julianna; great grandchildren Shania, Nijia, Nakiya, Chrisanna, and Kyran; and great great granddaughter, Raelyn; sisters Judy (Dave) Sible of Gaithersburg, MD, Raedel (Dave) Ringer of Concord, NC, Jane (Scott) Gillespie of Coplay, PA and brother, James (Kathy) Yarris of Cranberry, PA. In addition to his wife Constance “Connie” (Simmen) Yarris who passed away in August, 2020 and parents he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jessica and Son, John Yarris.

Marcus “Marc” Glenn Stauffer Jr., 72, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Marc grew up in White Oak, PA and lived in a few places before settling in Arlington, Virginia where he spent the majority of his years.
Marc graduated from McKeesport Senior High School in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and his continued education included a bachelor’s degree from Bethany College, in Bethany, West Virginia, as well as a Master of Divinity from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in Rochester, New York, and Doctor of Theology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Marc was an avid reader, lover of genealogy, wildlife, conservation, LGBTQ+ rights, political science, and he loved his morning conversations with family and friends. Marc also loved animals, as he and his husband had numerous cats and dogs throughout their lives. Marc found joy in cuddling with pets, as they brought him comfort and companionship after the passing of his husband, Steve.

Karen M. (Tom Katona) Paterra, 71, lifelong resident of Versailles Borough, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in White Oak. Karen was born in McKeesport on April 14, 1948, daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Smith) Paterra of Versailles Borough. She was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Paterra who died in 1972. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Church - St. Patrick Worship Site, The Palenese League of America, and served as a past officer of the Palenese Women's Auxiliary She was retired from the County of Allegheny where she worked for over 24 years as an administrative secretary. Karen was a jack-of-all-trades. and would attempt any home repair job that she physically could. She was a women of great faith and her family was the center of her world. She was a 1966 graduate of McKeesport High School. From 1969 to 1971 she traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy and France. For her, the highlight of these travels was when she was so close to Pope Paul VI, she could almost reach out and touch him.
