David Henning, age 51 of McKeesport, died April 20, 2021, at home. Born December 10, 1969, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Donald Henning and Alice Gardner Myers Henning.

David was a McKeesport High School graduate and was a huge McKeesport Tigers fan. He loved working at Giant Eagle, and everyone who stopped in knew his smiling face. David was a life-long member of the Kephart United.
Methodist Church.  David was a Pittsburgh sports fanatic and could tell you the stats for every Pittsburgh team. He was truly an inspiration to everyone he knew and had a gift for making lasting friendships.

He will be greatly missed by all.

David is survived by his aunt Mary Ellen Hawley, uncle Harl Hawley, and aunt Mildred Thomas; cousins Karen Jeffer, Sharon King,  Arthur F. Myers, Thomas Myers, Craig Myers, Brian Myers, Melanie Kortz, Robin Galatin, Tara Sue Minyon, Christopher Hawley and Richard Hawley, his Fawcett Plan extended family, including Doreen Jacobs, who was always faithfully by David’s side during his illness, and her sons, Bobby, Anthony, Ryan, and daughter, Dana DelDuca-Cindric, Jamie McDonald, and many more.  They not only considered David part of their family but played a huge role in his care throughout his life.

She is also survived by her brother Howard J. Kelley of Clairton as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters LouAnn and Kimberley Lynn Kelley as well as her brothers George Rack, James Fleming, and John Fleming. Felix “Lefty” Marcello, 96, of North Versailles, passed away Monday April 12, 2021. He was the father of Donald Marcello, Larry (Lisa) Marcello, Sharon (Gary) Schultz, and Kathryn “Kitty” (Brian) Spacht; grandfather of Shannon (Anthony) Moorehead, Brandon (Jen) Schultz, Erin (Steve) Noll, Jenna (Josh) Kraus, Mike Marcello, Matt Marcello, and Max Marcello; great grandfather of 12; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews; and brother to Teresa “Tesie” Marcello.

He was a member of Mary Mother of God Parish (formerly St. Robert Bellarmine Church), where he volunteered with fundraising events.

He was a retired teacher that instructed industrial arts for Pittsburgh Public Schools, and served as a deputy for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Dept. (1984-2004). Lefty was an Army Sgt. In the 11th Airborne that served during WWII, a member of the VFW, American Legion Post #527, Moose Lodge, and ISDA, Wilkins Township.

Andrew Hrizo, 92, of Laurel Mountain Boro., formerly of Duquesne, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Born May 22, 1928,in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Laychak) Hrizo. Mr. Hrizo was a retired employee of the former Duquesne Works U.S. Steel Corporation, a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict, a member of the Gen. Smedley D. Butler White Oak American Legion, the Fort Ligonier V.F.W. Post 734, and a former member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and John Hrizo, and four sisters, Mary Hrizo, Ann Hrizo, Helen Haluschak and Margaret Pomocki. He is survived by a nephew, Dennis (Brandalyn) Hollin and great nieces and nephews.

Israel, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at Redstone Highlands, North Huntingdon surrounded by his loving family.  He was born April 23, 1933 in Pittsburgh and raised in Coshocton, Ohio, son of the late William V. and Marion (Ford) Israel, raised by his grandmother Goldie Mae Israel and Axel Hillstrom.  He graduated from Fresno High School and University of Pittsburgh.  Chuck was employed by US Steel, Duquesne Works, Price Waterhouse, and retired from Beckwith Machinery Company. Chuck valued FAMILY above all else and cherished any opportunity to get the family together, especially at the annual beach vacation in Corolla, NC and the annual Crabfest on the back deck. He loved vacations with family at Disney World and various National Parks, especially Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, the Grand Canyon and Canyonlands.  He was a member of St. Agnes Parish where he volunteered as an usher and was instrumental in organizing the St. Agnes Bazaar.  He was a scout leader for Markvue Manor, mentor for Eagle Scouts and started the Luminaria Fundraiser which lives on today.
