Victor M. Zilinskas, age 89, of North Huntingdon, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at his home. Born in Homestead on March 23, 1933, he was the son of the late Victor and Anne (DeVilla) Zilinskas Sr. He was a retired pattern maker at Fisher Body and a member of the Pattern Makers Union. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon, Pido’s Friday Night Bowling League, Pinheads Bowling League and the First Catholic Slovak Union. He was an avid golfer, loved to fix things, do puzzles and work on cars and other racing cars and loved to attend his grandchildren’s sports and school activities. Victor is the beloved husband of Mary Ann (Novotny) Zilinskas for 65 years; father and hero to Victor John (Rosalinda) Zilinskas of Palo Alto, CA, Susan Zilinskas of North Huntingdon and Melissa Ann (Mark Allen) Prutz of North Huntingdon; grandfather of Victor Q., Owen Marek, Braydon Nicholas and Mila Ann; brother of Mark (late Janice) Zilinskas of Monroeville and late John (late Jean) Zilinskas. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 2-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon, followed by the presentation of Military Honors.
