Donald W. Molinaro, age 93 of Glassport and formerly of Clairton, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in his home peacefully and surrounded by his family.  Born October 15, 1927 in Glassport, he was a son of the late Dominic and Edna (Cothery) Molinaro.  A former steelworker at Copperweld in Glassport, Don was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving during both World War II and the Korean War.  He was a member of both Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church, Clarton, and the American Legion Daniel Keffer Post #75, Clairton.  In his spare time, he was an avid runner, participating in many Pittsburgh Great Races over the years.  Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Rica (Campolongo) Molinaro, who passed away November 6, 2005; his grandson Kirk Sprouse, who passed away August 14, 1992; and his brothers George and Duane Molinaro.  He is survived by his daughters Edna Jean (Steve) Fleishaker of Myrtle Beach, SC, Danette (Ray) Sprouse of Glassport, Helen Marie (Chuck) Kennedy of Lansdale, and Mary Kay (Richard) Rafferty; his five grandchildren Chas (Rachel) Sprouse, Steve (Tiffany) Fleishaker, Kelly (Sam) Schulte, Caitlin (Jeff) Nichols, and Brianna Kennedy; his five great-grandchildren; and also nieces and nephews.

Edward C. Steiman, age 61, of McKeesport, formerly of Braddock, passed away on August 23, 2021, at home. Son of the late Willie P. & Delores Jean (Ausselburn) Steinman, he was born in Jeannette, on December 16, 1959. He was a contractor, working for Chris Jackson Contracting, he frequented Kynor’s Korner and was a Veteran. He was the husband of the late Rhonda (Gongaware) Steinman; father of Timothy (Crystal Fagan) Steinman; grandfather of Michael McIntosh, Trevor Steinman & Skyla Steinman; brother of Tim, Jake and Tony Steinman, Kathy Flanigan, Deloris Niver & Patty Morrison and predeceased by Jim, Bob and Paul Steinman and Sandy Klagas. Louella J. Teck, age 79, of Liberty Borough, formerly of Braddock, died August 19, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born September 29, 1941, in Braddock, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy (Kuzniewski) Musgrave.
Louella retired from Senior Care Plaza of McKeesport, where she was the activities director. She belonged to Life Span of McKeesport. Louella enjoyed baking, and working word puzzles.

She is survived by her daughters, Tania (Thomas) McFadden, and Tracey Watkins both of Liberty Borough; grandchildren, Samantha, and Jonathan; brother, Nelson Musgrave of West Mifflin; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Aldia Pavlik

Aldia (Desrosier) Pavlik of Clairton passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at home at the age of 98.

Aldia was born in Crookston, MN on February 19, 1923 to Joseph David and Mary Ann (Delorme) Desrosier.  She met her husband William G. at a nightclub in Saginaw, MI. while he was on leave in Bay City, MI., from the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.  They were married on September 15, 1945 and celebrated 59 years together before his passing on January 3, 2005.  Aldia was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish – St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and was a faithful watcher of the Catholic Mass on television when she was no longer able to physically attend Mass.  Her hobbies through the years included knitting, sewing, tailoring, making doll houses, and upholstering.

Cleary, 91, of Glassport died Aug. 23, 2021.  He is the son of the late James and Belle Cleary and beloved husband of the late Eileen (Hays) Cleary.  Milton was retired from Westinghouse.  He is survived by his nephews Lance (Jenn) Tacik, Tim Brown, Bill Brown, David Hays, Timothy Hays and Brian Hays; nieces Launette (Craig) Tacik-Weber, Laurie Tacik, Leslie (Steve) Inskeep, Andrea Vojtko, Doris Protz and Eileen Hays and special friend Lorraine Fontanese.  A private funeral service will be held on Sat., Aug. 28, 2021.  Funeral arrangements by Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport.

James "Jim" Murphy

James "Jim"  Murphy, 94, of Duquesne, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was born May 16, 1927 in Rankin and was the son of the late William "Bill" and Helen (Ursing) Murphy.  Jim was a World War II Veteran who served in the US NAVY.  He was a graduate of both the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Penn Tech. He would go on to work as the building and grounds supervisor at Bettis Lab in West Mifflin.  Jim was an avid tv watcher, especially science programs and loved getting new tvs.  He enjoyed going on many cruises with his companion, Martha. Jim was a good man and a hard worker, he will be greatly missed.  He is survived by companion of 37 years, Martha Ann Davis, daughter, Deborah Lynn Murphy of Pittsburgh, sons, James Brian Murphy of Pittsburgh and Paul Murphy of Swissvale, sister, Helen Morris of Chicora, PA, and grandson, Raymond of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Catherine Murphy, and brothers, Edward "Buster" and William Murphy. Following Jim's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cancino, 88, of Irwin, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Riverside Nursing Center.  She was born January 29, 1933 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Tomovsick) Margie.  Prior to her retirement, Dolores was a cake decorator for Giant Eagle.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Topps.  She enjoyed crafting and clowning, making costumes, hats, gardening, baking cakes and making candy.  Dolores found great joy being around children and sharing in their laughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D. David Cancino, brother, Edward Margie and sister, Irene Long.  She is survived by her son, D. Rick Cancino and his wife, Nancy; daughters, Paulette Myers and Diane Lavelle and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Benjamin Cancino, Aaron Myers, Rachel Myers, Carmen Davidson, Alex Lavelle; step grandchild, Chris; great-grandchildren, Maggie and Ayden; step great-grandchildren, Xavier, Haley, Caleb, A.J., Savana and Elsiabelle. Cynthia Louise Milchick, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  She was born March 15, 1949 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Louise (Cifranick) Milchick.  Cynthy was a graduate of Norwin Senior High School and was a cosmetologist.  She was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon where she was Director of R.C.I. A.,  a Eucharistic Minister, catechism teacher and taught Bible classes for many years.  Cynthy belonged to the Secular Carmelite Order of Latrobe of Jesus Mary and Joseph, given the Carmelite name, Cynthia of the Good Shepherd.  She was a devout Catholic who dedicated her life to God.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching movies.  She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth A. Milchick and his wife, Mary E. "Liz", Dennis R. Milchick and his wife, Shirley, Andrea McAfee, and Thomas A. Milchick; nephew, David (Danielle) Milchick; and niece, Tracey (Greg) Hartman.  Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. Piskorski and the late Rose Layton Beldham.  She retired from Gurrentz International in Forest Hills and was a member of the PNA 352 in McKeesport, White Oak American Legion, the Moose in Irwin and South Wilmerding Fire Hall.  She enjoyed going to the beach and loved spending time with her family.
