Regis Daniel Walton, age 86, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at home. He was born December 13, 1931 in Braddock, a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Walton. He was a long time member of Greater Works Outreach, Monroeville. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict stationed at Fort Knox and went on to spend the next 28 years managing a number of bowling businesses including Norwin Lanes, North Versailles Bowling, and Bowling City, Mt. Lebanon. Most recently, until his retirement in December, he was in sales for Toona Auto Parts in North Huntingdon. He was an accomplished bowler, enjoyed golf and loved his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son-in-law Jim Snyder; brothers Joe, Bob and Jack Walton; and a sister Audrey Yates. He is survived by his wife of over 66 years Joan (Ridgeway) Walton; his children Daniel (Donna) Walton of Monroeville, Diane Snyder of Wexford, David (Becky) Walton of Monroeville and Dennis (Bonnie) Walton of Ford City; 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Maud L. Andrew, 89, of Port Vue, went to her heavenly home to be embraced by a loving family on Thursday, March 29, 2018. She was born April 25, 1928 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Theodore C. Stumme and Dorothy E. (Kelly) Pishko. She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church in McKeesport, Eastern Star Clairton Chapter 316, and Senior Companion. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was the cherished mother of  Daryl (James) Gray of West Mifflin, and William  (Olivia) Andrew of Port Vue. She was the treasured grandmother of James W. Gray, Brenda Capolongo, Ellie Gray, and Reagan Andrew. She was blessed with 2 great-grandsons, Vincent Capolongo and Dorian Andrew. She was the loving sister of Barbara Hiquet of North Versailles and was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Harold N. "Buzz" Phillips, Jr., 64 of Glassport, died March 30, 2018.  He is the son of the late Harold and Donaldeen (Beitler) Phillips, Sr.  He is survived by his beloved wife Louise Phillips; sons Brian Phillips and Jim (Lisa) Phillips; grandchildren Jim Phillips, Jr, Alex, Ben and Elizabeth and sister Sheryl Perozich; also nieces and nephews. Buzz worked at National Tubes for 13 years and then Kane Regional Center.  Buzz was a member of Port Vue Athletic Association and church council at Queen of the Rosary.  He was also very active in Glassport and South Allegheny's football, basketball and baseball programs where he coached for many years.  Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Mon. 2-8.  A funeral mass will be held Tues 1:00 pm at St. Mark's Liberty Boro with Father Daniel Straughn.  Interment following New St. Joseph Cemetery.

Virginia “Jeanie” Dorothy Loomis, 95, of Clairton, formerly of Glassport, passed away at Jefferson Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  She was born September 4, 1922 in McKeesport to the late John and Mary Germek Pavol.  Virginia was the loving wife of the late Leland Russell Loomis for 39 years.  She is survived by her son, Donald R. Loomis and her dog Shadow.  Along with her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by brother, Robert Pavol.  She was a graduate of Glassport High School & Duffs Business School, was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, loved sports, sewing, bingo, ceramics, and was a member of Wilson Civic Association.  Visitation will take place from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 on Monday, April 2, 2018 at S.M. He was born August 15, 1916, in Orange, New Jersey, a son of the late Daniel and Matilda Denney. He retired after 32 years as a production manager at the Newark News and was a former member of St. Joseph Church in West Orange, and a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of WWII. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lorene (Rutledge) Denney; and brothers Daniel and James Denney. He is survived by his children William F. (Maggie) Denney Jr. of North Huntingdon and Robert D. (Kathleen) Denney of Boonton, NJ; grandchildren Lauren and Collin Denney; and sister a Helen Knight of Lancaster. A funeral service and interment will take place in New Jersey.

George Boros, age 86, of McKeesport died Tuesday, March 27, 2018.  He was born in Braddock on February 3, 1932 and is the son of the late Andrew and Marie Matta Boros.  He was the husband of the late Rose Marie Kopolovich Boros.  George served in the Ary duringthe Korea war. He was employed at Mesta Machine in Homestead and then at Thermal Industries in Murrysville.  He volunteered at Meals on Wheels in McKeesport, he loved listening and dancing to Polka music; in fact, everyone wanted to “dance the Polka with Uncle George.”  He had a kind smile that made you smile and everyone enjoyed spending time with him.

Emil "Moe" Brunazzi, Jr., 95, of Elizabeth Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2018. He was born November 22, 1922  in Blythedale and was the son of the late Emil Brunazzi, Sr.  and Narcissa Morpanini Brunazzi.  He was the husband of 65 years to the late  Elizabeth Marie "Betty" Hamadock Brunazzi. Moe graduated from Sewickley Township High School in Herminie in 1942 and went on to work as a milkman for Menzie Dairy in McKeesport and delivered milk in the Pittsburgh area for 27 years. He also worked at his parent's farm in Irwin.  After his retirement from Menzie Dairy, he was employed by Walter Schmitt and Associates in West Newton.  Emil loved his children and grandchildren, to garden, watch the deer, turkeys and squirrels in his back yard, planting flowers, crossword puzzles and to go fishing in Potter County with his son-in-law, Ray Homa. Emil was a member of the Shelocta Sportsman's Club.  He is survived by 3 generations of family including his five children, whom he loved very much, Sharon A. (Ray) Luzier of Elizabeth Township, Terry (Jane) Brunazzi, Sr. of Belle Vernon, Barbara (Ray) Homa of Indiana, Gary (and friend, Linda) Brunazzi and Emil Brunazzi III of Irwin, four grandchildren, Laurie Luzier (Rob) Salvio of Smithton, Raymond (Aspen) Luzier Jr. of Franklin, TN, Terry (Trisha) Brunazzi Jr. of Greensburg and Jessica (David) Brunazzi McDermott of Philadelphia, six great-grandchildren, Nico, Mayla and Talia Brunazzi, Hudson Ray and Beck Jagger Luzier and Josephine Jane McDermott (and another great-granddaughter on the way), a sister, Joy B. DeClaudio of Irwin, many nieces, nephews and cousins and good friend Debbie Raymer of Galeton.
