Wanda M. (Kruszka) Buri, age 98, of Bridgeville, formerly of North Versailles, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019. She was born February 16, 1921 in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Valentine and Antoninia Kruszka. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church in East McKeesport. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 64 years David T. Buri; daughter Wanda McGuigan; and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Michael J. (Louise) Belak of Valencia, Daniel (Nancy) Buri of North Huntingdon and Lynne (Michael) LeViseur of Bethel Park; grandchildren John Costantino, Michael (Jennifer) Belak, Michael (Stacey) LaViseur and Rachel LeViseur; and great grandchildren Dylan and Trevor Belak.

Patricia Rae DeLeo, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019.  She was born May 18, 1934 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late James and Dolly (Moyer) O'Neill.  Pat was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Penns Wood Civic Association and enjoyed playing cards, visiting the casino and loved baking nut rolls.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic DeLeo; daughter, Donna Lee Tamilia; stepmother, Teresa Halliwell; brothers, William and James O'Neill; sisters, Dorothy Skonetzni and Gloria Lyons.  She is survived by her son, John Lee and his wife, Janet; daughters, Darlene Leader and her husband, William and Diane Clem and her husband, Jeff; son-in-law Joe Tamilia; grandchildren, Adam Tamilia, William Jr. (Courtney) and Dominic Leader, Alexa and Linda Lee, Nathan and Joel Kremer; Rachel Law (Cody, Peyton and Connor) and Madison Griffin (Adam); and countless loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the James W. Lowell E. Gregg, of Glassport died November 3, 2019. He is the son of the late Floyd and Doris (Sharpneck) Gregg. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol; daughters Doris (Anthony) Haywood of Mckeesport and Tammy (Daniel) List of White Oak; sons Brian (Jennifer) Gregg of Glassport and David (Heather) Gregg of Glassport; grandchildren Anthony Jr., Brian Jr., Sara, Olivia, and David Jr.; and great-grandchild Sophia. He was preceded in death by his son Wayne. Lowell worked for U.S. Steel and drove for Access for many years. He was past a member of the Elizabeth Boro Fire Dept. and also a lifetime member of the Glassport Citizen's Hose Co. #1. Friends received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport. A service will be held at 7pm by the Glassport Fire Department.

Suzanna (Adam) Miller, 86, of Irwin, died Friday November 1, 2019, at Golden Heights, Irwin. She was born June 18, 1933 in East Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Durocik) Adam. She was a retired secretary for Westinghouse and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Irwin, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the WELCA. She was a wonderful baker and cook. She enjoyed wintering in Florida with her husband for many years and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and neighbor. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Rev. John Adam, Anna Adam, and Mary Ann Hredzak. She is survived by her husband of sixty four years Lloyd Paul Miller; her children Daniel P. (Joell) Miller, Paula (Tony) DeLuise, and Diane Ozegovich all of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren Danine Miller (Ryan Temoshenka), Faith (Eric) Attanucci, Anna (Corey) Read, Amanda DeLuise, Rachel Ozegovich, Adam Ozegovich, Daniel Brotz, and Abigale Brotz; a brother Michael Adam; sister in law Dorothy Adam; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Joseph F. Nesteruk, age 94, of Liberty Borough, died October 31, 2019, at UPMC Mercy. Born November 24, 1924, in Library, PA, he was the son of the late Mark and Mary (Urbanski) Nesteruk and the husband of the late Helen L. Nesteruk for over 61 years.
Joseph retired from Luti Sign Co., where he was a painter and commercial artist. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during WWII. Joseph was a member of St. Mark Parish of Liberty Borough.
He enjoyed old movies, Pittsburgh Steelers, and he always had a sweet tooth. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Dr. Robert E. Beranek

Dr. Robert E. Beranek, 88, of North Huntingdon Township, died on October 31, 2019.  He was born June 3, 1931 in the village of Central, East Huntingdon Township, a son of the late Charles and Anna Beranek.  Dr. Beranek obtained a Bachelor's Degree with high honors from St. Vincent College in 1953.  He was a veteran, having served twenty seven months in the US Army between 1953 and 1955.  Following military service, he earned a Master's Degree in Political Science from Fordham University and a Ph.D in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Beranek taught in the Department of Political Science at Duquesne University for 35 years.  While teaching a wide array of courses, his primary interests lie with the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.  When teaching Eastern Europe, Dr. Beranek placed special emphasis on the two countries from where his grandparents had originated, namely the Czech Republic and Slovakia.  Widely acclaimed as an excellent lecturer, he received a Student Government Award for Distinguished Teaching and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching.  He retired as a Professor Emeritus of Political Science.  Dr. Beranek was a member of the American Political Science Association and the Pennsylvania Political Science Association.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Beranek, and a sister, Elsie Hapchuk.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty (Miller) Beranek of North Huntingdon; two sons, Robert A. Beranek and his wife, Pamela, of North Huntingdon; David E. Beranek and his wife, Tina, of Virginia; and a daughter, Lynn T. Vita and her husband, Charles, of North Huntingdon; six grandchildren, Leanndra, Lindsay, Matthew, Michael, Mikayla, Jonathon; two great-grandchildren, Cayden and Layla; sister, Marian Kitta, of Mount Pleasant; and numerous nephews and nieces.  Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the James W.
