Kent Allen Sedlock,  65, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Greenock, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born  April 24, 1955 in McKeesport and was the son of the late William and Carlene (Raymer) Sedlock. Kent was a retired Tree Trimmer and had worked for IBEW Local 1919. He was a member of the Eleventh Ward Welfare Association, Hartford Heights Fire Co, Elizabeth Township Ex Serviceman's Association, the Elizabeth Township Sportsman's Association and was a NRA Benefactor. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Anita L. (Shipley) Sedlock, daughter, Carly Joy Sedlock of North Huntingdon, twin brother, Kurt P. (Francie) Sedlock of Greenock, nephew, William Sedlock of Greenock, best mother-in-law, Marlyn Shipley of North Huntingdon, and many friends. Dolores Jean Priselac, 84, of Lincoln Borough, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was born May 9, 1936 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Potenziani) DiGiorno. Dolores retired from the South Allegheny School District Lunch Program after serving students for over 45 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clayton R. Cole, age 90 of McKeesport, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, in UPMC McKeesport.  Born January 27, 1931 in Elizabeth Twp., he was a son of the late Ralph and Nettie (Bush) Cole.  A retired steelworker at US Steel Homestead Works who also worked as mechanic at Cindric Garage, Clayton was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of bowling leagues at Versailles Lanes.  Clayton is survived by his wife Frances "Tootsie" Cole; his daughter Cathy L. (Walter) Kozlowski of McKeesport; his grandsons Zack and Leo Kozlowski; his sister Doris Fornell of Port Vue; his brothers Ted Cole in Arizona and John Cole of State College; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his siblings Nancy Jacobs, Betty Waugh, Donna Civello, and Lyle and Gary Cole.

Arlene C. Chisick, age 89, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Meadowcrest Nursing Center. She retired as a registered nurse at UPMC McKeesport and attended Crossroads Community Church in Jefferson Hills. A Glassport High School class of 1949 graduate and 1952 graduate of the West Penn School of Nursing, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and was an avid shopper. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Born June 12, 1931 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Irene (Roeper) Davis. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph A.  Chisick; daughters, Rebecca Grady of Whitehall and Christine (Tim) Biery of Upper St. Clair; son, Joseph C. Chisick of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Michael, Kristopher and Alexandra Grady and Trisha, Shannon and Jonathon Biery; sisters, Cindy (George) Tauber of Toledo, OH and Sherry (Jeff) Matola of Columbus, OH; brother, Ross Campbell of Ross Twp.; also, nieces and nephews.

Amelia M. Mendicino, 92, of Glassport, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born June 30, 1928, in Glassport. She worked at Kaufmann’s Department Store at Century III Mall for 24 years. She was a former member of the St. Cecilia Bowling League, loved to square dance for many years, and enjoyed years of working at the fish fries for Queen of the Rosary Parish. More recently, she enjoyed reading, building jigsaw puzzles, and playing Bingo and cards. She touched all who knew her in a beautiful way, and loved staying connected to family and friends through handwritten notes and cards for all occasions. 

Daughter of the late Dominic and Domenica Aquilante. She was married for 53 years to the late Leo A. Mendicino. Millie was most proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; daughters, Ann Bisignani and her husband Jerry and Dolores Colarosa and her husband Don; grandchildren, Brian & Allie Bisignani, Jeffrey & Aimee Bisignani, Nicholas & Hannah Colarosa, and Krista Colarosa; great grandchildren Kelsey, Josh, Ryleigh, Addie, Gannon and Callie; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Aquilante) DiIenno, and brothers, Pete and Nick Aquilante. 

The family extends a special thank you to Oakleaf Personal Care, her home for a wonderful and loving two years; and to Anova Home Health Care, who took such remarkable and loving care of her in her final days. Due to the pandemic, there will be a private viewing, funeral mass and interment. William Joseph Wilson

William “Bill” Joseph Wilson, 85, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born in Clairton on February 11, 1935, Bill was the son of the late William Joseph and Bertha “Patsy” (Balog) Wilson. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anna Marie (Filowat) Wilson; sons, William Jr. (Susan) of McKees Rocks and Edward (Karen) of York; daughter, Christine, at home; grandsons, Grady and Benjamin; brother, James (Peggy) of Clairton; sister-in-law, Rita (Filowat) Croyle; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert; sister, Sarah “Sally”; and adored grandson, Christopher. Bill served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a former employee of Copperweld Corp. in Glassport and retired from his position as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician at Shadyside Hospital. He was a member of Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church, in Elizabeth Twp. where he was a coordinator in the parish’s Adult Faith Formation, a member of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship group, and was a former Eucharistic Minister and Pastoral Council member. Bill and his wife were members of the People of God Covenant Community for many years. Bill loved the lord with all of his heart and will be remembered for his gift of sharing that love with everyone he encountered.

Raymond Plummer, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at home. He was born February 5, 1937 in Greenock and was the son of the late Harry and Martha (Gretzuner) Plummer. He was the husband of the late Sylvia (Milhalovich) Plummer who passed away February 21, 2013. Ray was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenock and Duquesne-McKeesport F & AM Lodge 731 and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He was retired from the Bettis Atomic Power Lab and was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Jack and Eugene Plummer. There is no visitation. Private graveside service will be held at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Greenock. The Rev. Erin Evans will be officiating. Charles Russell Gilmore, age 53, of McKeesport, died January 25, 2021, at UPMC Mercy due to complications from a fall. Born June 29, 1967, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George W. and Evelyn J. (Fillo) Gilmore and the husband of the loving Susan T. (Snyder) Gilmore.
Russell was a private contractor and business owner of Charles R Gilmore Construction LLC. He restored his classic cars and was a real Mr. Fix-It-All. When not working on a new project, Russell enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and fishing on his boat. He was a fun-loving and generous man.

She was the wife of the late William Schonberger who passed away October 1, 2019. Roslyn was a member of Gemilas Chesed Congregation. She was  a former Secretary for a Navel Officer in Norfolk, VA, and had previously worked at the former Gimbels in Eastland, Byers Children's Store in McKeesport and the A &P in the 10th Ward where she grew up.
