Judith A. Glaser, 85, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home.  She was born January 31, 1935 in Pitcairn, a daughter of the late Andrew and Lavina (Smith) Szekely.  Judy was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.  She enjoyed playing family card games, Bingo, baking, painting, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin P. Glaser Sr.  She is survived by her three sons, Edwin Jr., Dan (Kelly), David (Vicki), two daughters, Cindy Raymer (Ron), Mary Anne Smatana (Mike); brother Danny (Patty) Szekely; sisters, Dotty Heaps and Honey Baney; 9 grandchildren, Kara, Keri, Jake, Sarah, Joshua, Hannah, Eli, Isaac, Abram; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Anna, Brixton and Ryan. Stephanida E. (Spiroff) Saunders, 85, died on January 24, 2021.  She was a resident of the Palms at O’Neil in McKeesport. Born on November 1, 1935, in Duquesne, she is the daughter of the late Cristo and Marie Spiroff. She was the beloved wife for 52 years of James M. Saunders, deceased, and devoted mother of Kurt M. Saunders of Los Angeles and Craig J. Saunders of North Versailles, both of whom survive her. In addition, she is survived by sisters, Dorothy Tiffany, Pandora Churilla, Anastasia Pierce, Elvatoria Higgis, and Mildred Bacco. Her sisters Pauline Zeleznik and Gloria Fuhrer predeceased her. She was formerly employed by the William Kohut Insurance Agency in Homestead. As a longtime member of the Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin, Stephanida served as a Bible School teacher and youth group leader for many years.

The founder of the Huber Hunt Club at Pymatuning Lake, he was an avid hunter and loved all things outdoors. Born May 17, 1932 in Clairton, he was a son of the late Steven and Anna (Bonko) Fedorko. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Wilma (Firczak) Fedorka; daughter, Paula J. (William) Cray of Morrisville, NC; son, Thomas M. Margaret Gene Loudin Kadar, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Brandywine Living, Voorhees, New Jersey. 

Margaret was born December 9, 1927, in Cameron, West Virginia, and was raised in Ronceverte, WV, the only child of Louise Mayfield & Toddy Loudin (the state’s winningest high school coach).  She graduated valedictorian from Greenbrier High School and attended Greenbrier College for Women before transferring to West Virginia University. At WVU, she was a sister of the Delta Gamma sorority and graduated with a degree in Home Economics in 1949.  She attended the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business, earning a Master’s Degree in 1950.  On her first day at Pitt, she stood next to fellow student Alex Kadar while lined up alphabetically for a class picture.  After introducing themselves, Al treated Margaret Gene to coffee, and they were married 18 months later.  They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary on February 17, 2021.

Eugene J. Sunder, 96, of North Versailles, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Kane Community Living Center, McKeesport. He was born March 1, 1924 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Eugene F. and Rose A. (Grahame) Sunder and was also preceded in death by his sister Rose A. Kesterson and his brother Henry J. Sunder. Eugene was a member of Holy Spirit Praise and Fellowship Center, Wilmerding.

He was a proud Navy WWII veteran, and was a lifelong member of Hilltopers VFW Post 8430, East McKeesport. Prior to his retirement Eugene worked as a sheet metal worker for A&P Furnace Co., North Versailles.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years Allison (Peacock) Sunder, lovingly known to Eugene as “McDuff”; his daughter Jeri L. (Gary) Wenning of North Versailles, grandchildren Anthony, Alysia, Aaron, and Eric; great grandchildren Anthony, Brianna, Levi, and Chole; and nieces and nephews.

(Walter) Kozlowski of McKeesport; his grandsons Zack and Leo Kozlowski; his sister Doris Fornell of Port Vue; his brothers Ted Cole in Arizona and John Cole of State College; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his siblings Nancy Jacobs, Betty Waugh, Donna Civello, and Lyle and Gary Cole.

A Glassport High School class of 1949 graduate and 1952 graduate of the West Penn School of Nursing, she enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and was an avid shopper. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Born June 12, 1931 in Glassport, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Irene (Roeper) Davis. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph A.  Chisick; daughters, Rebecca Grady of Whitehall and Christine (Tim) Biery of Upper St. Clair; son, Joseph C. Chisick of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Michael, Kristopher and Alexandra Grady and Trisha, Shannon and Jonathon Biery; sisters, Cindy (George) Tauber of Toledo, OH and Sherry (Jeff) Matola of Columbus, OH; brother, Ross Campbell of Ross Twp.; also, nieces and nephews.

Amelia M. Mendicino, 92, of Glassport, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born June 30, 1928, in Glassport. She worked at Kaufmann’s Department Store at Century III Mall for 24 years. She was a former member of the St. Cecilia Bowling League, loved to square dance for many years, and enjoyed years of working at the fish fries for Queen of the Rosary Parish. More recently, she enjoyed reading, building jigsaw puzzles, and playing Bingo and cards. She touched all who knew her in a beautiful way, and loved staying connected to family and friends through handwritten notes and cards for all occasions. 

Daughter of the late Dominic and Domenica Aquilante. She was married for 53 years to the late Leo A. Mendicino. Millie was most proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; daughters, Ann Bisignani and her husband Jerry and Dolores Colarosa and her husband Don; grandchildren, Brian & Allie Bisignani, Jeffrey & Aimee Bisignani, Nicholas & Hannah Colarosa, and Krista Colarosa; great grandchildren Kelsey, Josh, Ryleigh, Addie, Gannon and Callie; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Aquilante) DiIenno, and brothers, Pete and Nick Aquilante. 

The family extends a special thank you to Oakleaf Personal Care, her home for a wonderful and loving two years; and to Anova Home Health Care, who took such remarkable and loving care of her in her final days. Due to the pandemic, there will be a private viewing, funeral mass and interment.
