Ruth Frencik Schwirian, 91, of Elizabeth Twp., died Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Ruth was born in Frank, PA on July 18, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Gertrude Rhoades Frencik and Henry (Heinie) Frencik. She was the wife of the late Curtis Andrew Schwirian, who passed away July 14, 1975. Ruth leaves one son, Scott (Kim) Schwirian of Elizabeth Twp., and one granddaughter, Laci. Ruth was a proud 1948 band member and graduate of McKeesport High School and later received her degree from The Indiana State Teachers College, now known as IUP, where she was affiliated with Zeta Tau Alpha.

Duane "Lu" D. Semian, 69, of Glassport, died Dec. 16, 2021.  He is the son of the late Andrew "Twiggy" and Mary (Synkowski) Semian.  He is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (Thomas) Semian; son Mitchell T. Semian; daughter Cara L. Semian; grandchildren Ethan M. Semian and Tyler R. Hernandez; brother Gregory (Nancy) Semian; sister Marsha Fairbanks; also nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Andrew Semian, Jr. and Mark Semian.   Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport on Sun. from 4 to 7.  A funeral blessing will be held Mon. 10:00 am at the funeral home.  Entombment following New St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Western PA Chapter, P.O. Anna L. (Maslowski) Jobes, age 78, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at home. A member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church in Elizabeth Twp., she was a hairdresser and former employee of Hills in West Mifflin and a former bank teller at Great American in Elizabeth Twp. and Clairton. She was one of Western Pennsylvania’s top 10 Pin women bowlers in her younger days. She loved baking and cooking and the family could not wait to eat her cold dough cookies and nut rolls at Christmastime. She loved to cross stitch for her Blue Ribbon quilts she would win at the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival and had a real passion for fishing at their camp at Shawnee State Park in Bedford County. Born September 2, 1943 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Puskavich) Maslowski. She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Odorcich, and daughter, Holly (David) Hasak of Elizabeth Twp. A Memorial Gathering will take place in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 11 AM until the time of blessing service at 1 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas A. Wagner and the Rev. R. Paul Walter officiating. A procession and inurnment will follow to Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. Patricia Ann Boboth, age 58, of Glassport, passed away December 14, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born November 6, 1963, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Albert and Mary Sue (Domer) Boboth of Davenport, IA.  

Patty graduated from Serra Catholic High School and Penn State University. She worked at the Whale’s Tale Shelter for Homeless Youth in Pittsburgh. Later, she worked at the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital in Pittsburgh.

In addition to her parents, Patty is survived by siblings, Cindy (Paul) Boboth of Port Vue, PA, Paul Boboth of Davenport, IA, and Elaine (Mike) Moeller of Davenport, IA; nephew, Mason, and niece, Bella Moeller of Davenport, IA.

Jacqueline Lee “Mert” (Tuttle) Kerr, 84 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at her home. She was born in Clairton on November 15, 1937, to the late Walter and Emma Maude Hindman Tuttle. Jacqueline was the loving wife of 58 years to Albert W. Kerr. She was a member of the Pine Run United Methodist Church and enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Jacqueline worked at Irvin Works for 2 years before working in the Men’s Department at K-Mart for 5 years. She is survived by her husband as well as her sons, Albert P. and Jason (Carolyn) Kerr of Clairton. She is further survived by her sister Donna Buzalka of New Eagle and many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her beloved dog Dakota. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her sisters Kathryn Gephart and Sandra Fine. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will occur at 10 a.m on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the funeral home. She retired after 19 years as office manager for Stanley Tire in Elizabeth and was a former member of the Palisades Dance Group. Born October 6, 1923 in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Hjalmar and Aino (Krook) Karstunen and wife of the late Chester W. Zalewski. She is survived by children, Chester J. Zalewski of McMurray, Carmela (Robert) Yuhas of West Newton, David Zalewski of Washington and Anita Cindrich of Elizabeth Twp.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, William T. Zalewski; grandson, Gage Blanish; great-great-granddaughter, Lillian Conley; sister, Norma Estok; and companion, Lee Stanley. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Helene spent her working career in department store loss prevention. In addition to her father she is also survived by a son, Jonathan Nulty, a brother John W. Nulty, and two sisters, Dawn (Ronald Gates) Nulty and Tiffany Nulty.

Andrew Paul "Rocky" Dudik

Andrew Paul "Rocky" Dudik, age 87, of Port Vue, died December 13, 2021, at Havencrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  Born July 8, 1934, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Vojnik) Dudik and the loving husband of Louise (Nichols) Dudik for 64 years.

Rocky was a cabinet maker in McKeesport and honed his craft over many years.  The skills he learned while cabinet making also led him to work on and refinish antiques.  He took pride in his yard and garden tending to flowers, the Japanese Maple Tree, and planting grass plugs throughout the yard to keep it beautiful.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amy (Anthony) Ganzak; grandchildren, Amber Ondrey, Ashley Ondrey, and Andrew Ondrey; great-grandchildren, Noah and Addison; a brother, William "Bill" Dudik, and nieces, and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Andrew "Drew" Dudik; siblings, Anna Parler, Margaret Stoffer, Bette Connors, Michael Dudik, Joseph Dudik, John Dudik, and his beloved dog Hershey.

Evelyn R. Montgomery, age 81, of McKeesport, died December 8, 2021, at Manor Care of Shadyside. Born March 19, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Evelyn Ring.
Evelyn retired from Internal Revenue Service, where she was a taxpayer service representative. She also retired from the PA Unemployment Office and also went back to work with them just recently.  In her early years, she was a social worker at the Salvation Army Crisis Center of Pittsburgh. Evelyn also worked at Life Span Senior Center of McKeesport. She was a religious woman and was raised Protestant. Later in life, she converted to Catholicism and was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended Corpus Christi Church. Evelyn enjoyed bingo and always thought mice were rather nice. She also enjoyed watching the Game Show network. Evelyn always loved and cherished her family.
