After her mother passed, she became the family matriarch, always the glue that kept the family together. She was the loving sister of Mary (Jim) Bick of West Newton, Maggie(late Cookie Chiponis)of West Mifflin, and Colleen (Tom) Washko of North Huntingdon. She treated her many nieces and nephews like they were her own children. Jo was preceded in death by her siblings William “Gibby “Gibbons, Patti (late Bill Lutz), and Jimmy “Gibby” Gibbons.
Jo was a retired nurse and caretaker over the years to many. She was happiest when her house was full of laughter, participating in multiple conversations in different rooms all at the same time. An avid QVC shopper, as long as it was on sale. “Eun” enjoyed a good book and loved to binge watch Law &Order.
She was the head of the table, ready to drink a glass of wine and gossip with her sisters. Cheers to you Jo.
