Dennis Rosenberger, 75, of Hanover Park, Ill., left us March 26, 2023. In addition to his adored wife, Eleanor, with whom he would have celebrated his 55th anniversary this fall, he is survived by his daughters, Janice Rosenberger and Nancy (Jose) Gutierrez; granddaughters Elizabeth (James) Hurlbut, Lisa and Heidi Gutierrez, and Great-Grandsons, James and Oscar Hurlbut. He also leaves behind his loving Sister, Karen Miller, and many Cousins. Born and raised in McKeesport, Dennis moved to Illinois in 1970 with his wife. He worked in the steel industry at various levels from beginning to end, retiring in 2020. As requested by him, no funeral or memorial will be held, and interment of his cremains will be private. If you would like to honor his memory, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements were in the care of Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Oren Sinko, age 88, formerly of Redondo Beach, CA, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Lake Havasu City, AZ. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he retired as a flight engineer for Flying Tigers that became FedEx. He was a recreational pilot who also taught others to fly. Born April 11, 1934 in Glassport, he was a son of the late Walter and Julia (Kazanich) Sinko. He is survived by his brother, Nicholas Sinko of Daniels, WV; sister, Barbara (John) Phillips of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; brother, Valery (Eunice) Sinko of Hialeah, FL; and sister, Marie (Lee) McCracken of Lake Havasu City, AZ; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willa. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, 221 North Second Avenue, Elizabeth on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 11 AM until the time of funeral service at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rodney D. Myers, age 76, formerly of Braddock, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at UPMC East. Born in Braddock on April 23, 1946, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna M. (Holmes) Myers. He was a former member of the former Presbyterian Church in Braddock, enjoyed playing bingo, coloring and playing musical instruments. He was a ladies man with girls at the programs and workshops that he attended. He is the brother-in-law of Larry W. She was a former Elizabeth Twp. Commissioner for 36 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. Born October 19, 1944 in Charleroi, she was a daughter of the late Phillip Joseph and Lillian (Schemento) Totora. She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Theodore Panczyk, 99, of North Versailles, passed away Monday, April 03, 2023. He was born September 8, 1923 in Chalfant, a son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Schultz) Panczyk. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty, daughter Janie, brother Francis Panczyk, and sisters Sophia Powell, Jean Martin, Florence Kearns, and Joan Crissman. Ted was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, North Versailles. He was an Army veteran who served in WWII and the Korean War. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his heroic achievement in action on January 23, 1945 near Bennwihr, France.
He worked for H.J. Heinz Company for 35 years as a purchasing manager. He is survived by his children Nancy Connolly (David Pena) and Carol (Douglas) Miller; grandchildren Nicole Connolly, Matthew Pena, Brendan Miller, and Ethan Miller; also nieces and nephews. Ted is remembered for his keen sense of humor, love of card playing , fan of the Steelers and Pirates, and his kindness that made him a friend to all.

Larry Stewart Armstrong, 73, of Duquesne, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023. He was born November 24, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Arthur and Enid Marie (Stewart) Armstrong. Larry worked for over 21 years as a machinist for Westinghouse and later as a driver for numerous transportation companies. He loved baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and also enjoyed reading and learning about history. Most importantly he loved his wife, children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his soul mate and wife of 53 years, Audrey F. (Yesensky) Armstrong; daughter, Shannon (Daniel) Schultz of North Huntingdon; son, Larry S. (Dawn) Armstrong, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Hannah, Dane, Ethan, Dusk and Riley; a sister-in-law, Peggy Armstrong and 3 nieces. Marie A. Quezada, age 83, of McKeesport, passed away on April 1, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Born December 30, 1939, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Nizinski) Deemer and the wife of the late Salvadore "Chick" Quezada for 33 years.
Marie dedicated her life to taking care of her family. In her early years, she was a nurse's aide for the Palmer House Assisted Living. Marie was a devoted Catholic; she attended church at St Peter's Roman Catholic Church most of her life and became a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish. Her faith meant everything to her.

Bob had a career working as a truck driver and most recently drove for Firestone Enterprises, Latrobe. He was a mechanic at heart, and loved taking care of his bichon dogs. Ella Mae Jones, 81, also known as Noogie of Duquesne, was born on April 3, 1941, in Robeson County, NC. She was the beloved daughter to the late Charles and Queenella (Mclean) Hopes.
Ella graduated from McKeesport High School. She was the 2nd oldest of 7 children, whom she loved dearly. Ella loved being with family and would attend every family function just so she could be around those she loved. Ella also was known to tell it how it was, she didn’t sugarcoat anything, so if you were around her you better have tough skin and virgin ears.
Ella was a very generous individual. If she had it, you had it. Ella was crazy about her sons and grandchildren. She would make sure that she was at every sporting event, birthday parties, and graduations. Being a single mom, she knew that she had to be both mom and dad for her sons, John and Paul. She would work various jobs such as Secretarial work for the Steel Mill, Federal Government, and in her later years Hills and Ames Department Store.

Ann B. Morgan, age 73, of McKeesport, died at home on April 2, 2023. Born March 28, 1950, in McKees Rocks, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine (Munster) Muller and wife of Patrick C. Morgan for 43 years. Ann and Patrick were always on the move and spending time outside together. They enjoyed bike rides around the neighborhood and walks in White Oak Park. On weekends they would visit Seven Springs as a retreat from the busier city life or Ligonier, filling cans with natural spring water. Every year they would also visit Kennywood Park, riding rides, eating food, and taking in the natural beauty of the flowers. Ann spent a lot of time in spring and summer tending to the flowers in her garden. She also cherished going out to dinner with Patrick, where they could share stories of the day and have a good meal. Ann is also survived by sisters, Cathy Muller and Dorothy Bittner; niece, Alaina Bittner.
