Andrew M.  "Junior" Murin, age 66, of West Mifflin, died October 23, 2022, at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born August 11, 1956, in Clairton, he was the son of the late Andrew Murin.  Andrew was a South Wilmerding Social Club member and enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  He was a proud father and cherished special meals with his daughters and coaching his son's basketball teams when they were young.

Madeline B. Holecko, 89, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Juniper Village in Monroeville. She was born January 9, 1933 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna Hurst. Madeline was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzles and trips to the casinos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Regis, daughter Gina, four siblings, Hank, Richard, Edward and Harriet. She is survived by her son, Dennis and his wife Barbara and a sister Dorothy Vascko. Services are private.

Adalgisa Pillera, age 93, of McKeesport, died October 23, 2022, at Grandview Estates of Elizabeth.  Born August 5, 1929, in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (Ricciotti) Alfonsi and the wife of the late Giuseppe Pillera.  Adalgisa retired from Feig's Bakery, where she worked as a baker and decorator.  She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church, and was also a Christian Mother.  Adalgisa spent time outside tending to her garden and always enjoyed a good espresso with dessert.  She was the oldest of seven siblings and always looked out for her younger brothers and sisters.  When she was fourteen, she moved to Rome on her own to work as a maid and send the money she made back to the family.

Youngerman, 40, of North Huntingdon passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at UPMC East.  She was born June 9, 1982, a daughter of Hilda Brown Youngerman and the late Kenneth Youngerman.  Amy was a nurses aid and enjoyed trips to the beach and hiking.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Youngerman and sister, Lisa Ann Youngerman.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Jennifer Youngerman.  Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the James W. William A. "Fuzzy" Brooks

William A. "Fuzzy" Brooks, age 96, of White Oak, died October 21, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital. Born February 15, 1926, in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Matthew and Nellie Brooks and husband of the late Arlene Brooks.
Fuzzy was a Staff Sergeant in the Army during World War II. He was wounded in Germany and received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star for his service. After his honorable discharge, Fuzzy began his civilian career with U.S. Steel as a millwright and retired in 1985. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates.
He is survived by a son, Jon (Cindy Capp) Brooks.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Angela of Merici Church, Mary Mother of God Parish. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Vue.

Victor Perlick Sporio, age 26 of Clairton, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  Born June 19, 1996 in Pittsburgh, he is the son of Carol (Perlick) Sporio, husband Victor, of Clairton.  A gas lineman, Victor is also survived by his daughters Carmen and Camryn; his grandparents: John (JoAnne) Perlick of Clairton, Susan Woodward of Elizabeth, and Vince (Sandy) Sporio of Clairton; his sisters Carly Ogletree and Savanah Sporio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph who passed away February 4, 2020.

Roxanne L. Williams, 71, of White Oak, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at The Baldwin Health Center. She was born August 8, 1951 in Lexington, KY and was the daughter of Ondeine Williams of Penn Hills and the late Bill L. Williams.   Roxanne worked for many years as a nurse.  She was very caring and helped people with traumatic brain injuries. She also worked in Geriatrics and loved that work as well.  She enjoyed traveling the country as a long haul truck driver, but her greatest passion was writing poems and short stories in rhyme.  She was the creator and administrator of "Poetry Rhyme", a renowned online poetry group and was a published author of her book " The Caged Bird Sings". Her poems and short stories had been on radio and broadcast in The UK on several well known radio programs.  She was also a lover of nature and animals.  She will be truly missed.

Geroge W. Evans, Jr., age 67, of Port Vue, died October 19, 2022, at home. Born December 23, 1954, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George W. Evans Sr. and Dorothy (Billy) Evans.  George attended Penn State University and started his career with Westinghouse.  He later went to work with Fisher Body in West Mifflin for over 30 years as a die maker.  George was a self-taught musician who could play the keyboard but especially enjoyed the guitar. He owned two boats and spent time fishing with friends at his favorite spot, Cross Creek Lake in Washington County.  George was an amateur locksmith, held a pilot's license, rode motorcycles, and was a jack of all trades.  He followed in his father's footsteps and received his HAM Radio License and even was able to use his dad's old call sign of W3HOB.

Fazekas, age 65 of Greenock, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born March 18, 1957 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Alexander Fazekas and Beatrice Virginia (Wetzel) Fazekas Tedesco.  A former carpenter for the Union Local #142 and a corrections officer for Allegheny County, Alex was a member of the Boston Vets, the 11th. Ward Club, an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by his sons Matthew (Amanda) Fazekas of Jefferson Hills and Jonathan Fazekas of North Versailles; his grandchildren Sadie, Easton, and Bowen Fazekas; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, Alex was preceded in death by his siblings Emerson Fazekas and Melinda Whittington.

We are heartbroken at the loss of our precious Tristen Hornfeck born on February 12 1996.  He has left behind a loving mother, Maria Lipay Hornfeck, and father, Mark Hornfeck. He was the oldest sibling to his sisters Natalie and Madison Hornfeck, and brother Tanner Hornfeck. He was also a loving uncle, grandson, cousin and friend who will all miss him so much. She was a food and beverage clerk at the William Penn Hotel for 35 years, a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport and a member of their Young at Heart. Becky is the mother of Lora Dean (Dennis) Washowich of McKeesport; grandmother of Lyle (Michele) Washowich and Lynn (Amber) Washowich; great grandmother of Michael, Samuel, Aiden and Ava; great aunt of Diane, Melinda, David and Christine Tkacs, and Bill Margita; sister of the late Ann Suzich, late Kay Margita and late Dorothy Suzich.
