Diane L. Zepp, age 73, of Port Vue, died November 8, 2022, at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born May 25, 1949, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Hobby) Lape and wife of Charles R. Zepp and the late John Robert Stetar.  Diane enjoyed crocheting afghans, and she would share them with her family.  Diane and Charlie had many memorable trips in their trailer together, camping at the Keystone Korners Kampground.  Just recently, Diane took a trip to the Outer Banks with her family and cherished the memories made on vacation.
Above all else, Diane was a funny, loving and kind woman and always said her grandchildren were her pride and joy.  In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by children, Erik (Kelly) Stetar, Tina (Chris) Aul, and Tricia Stetar; grandchildren, Teil (Matt) Odenthal, Myranda Bradley, Meghan Bradley, Jillian Bradley, and Xander Aul; great-grandson, Axel Odenthal; sister, Leslie (Jerry) Zebrak.

Randal J. Ference, 67 of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born March 20, 1955 in McKeesport, a son of Gerald Ference and the late Geraldine (Kremp) Ference. Prior to his retirement, Randy was a crane operator for US Steel. He was a graduate of Norwin Sr. High School Class of ’73 and a member of St. Agnes Parish. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing baseball and was an avid Steelers fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Whitehead) Ference; sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Stephanie, Randal Jr.; daughter, Kelly Cucunato and her husband, Andrew; brother, Timothy Ference and his wife, Sue; sister, Linda Pavolvic and her husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Susan Ference; grandchildren, Vincent, Joseph, Emma, Colton and Connor; numerous nieces and nephews; and his canine companions, Bailey and Mia. Patricia Anne "Pat" Brinkos, 78, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2022 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1944 in Davenport, IA and was daughter to the late Paul F. and Maxine M. (Griffiths) Brennan. She is also preceded in death by her dear sister, Jane M. Brennan. Pat was a 1962 graduate of McKeesport High School, where she met the love of her life, her husband Bruce Brinkos, who survives her. Theirs was a long, rich and supportive marriage, filled with love, laughter and devotion.

John O. Geiger, 80, of Darragh, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at his home. He was born December 16, 1941 in Greensburg, a son of the late Homer and Helen (Semanco) Geiger. Prior to his retirement, John was the owner and operator of Route 30 Sunoco in North Huntingdon and past president of the Norwin Rotary. He enjoyed working on cars, doing yardwork and loved his canine companion, Chico. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Geiger; brothers, Walter P. "Herk", Burrell, Homer, Donald, Kenneth (Jim), David Sr. and Larry. Richard E. Peschock, 86, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was born March 22, 1936 in Johnstown, son of the late Michael and Mary (Sokolovich) Peschock. Preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Ronald; grandparents, John and Mary (Kovach) Sokolovich. Rich was a 1954 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School and attended Tri State College. He served in the US Naval Reserves, managed youth baseball and softball teams, served as sports commissioner, treasurer and president of the North Huntingdon Police Athletic League. Rich was employed by many engineering firms in and around the Pittsburgh area. He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Rita (Hynes) Peschock; children and spouses, Christine Schnider, Anita Powell, Michael and Pam Peschock and Bobbi Peschock; grandchildren Gillian (Mike) Mannebach, Brandi, Austin, Ben, Tim, Mikhayla, Jonathan and great-grandchild Emery; sister-in-law Betty Peschock of Hollidaysburg, PA; brother Robert (Lee) Gaylog of Mahopac, NY; and many nieces and nephews. James “Jim” Russell Brewer, 82, of McKeesport, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Jim was born in Pittsburgh, the youngest of three sons born to Ralph and Marguerite (Brown) Brewer. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1963, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. Jim will be remembered for his good spirits, easygoing approach to life, and entrepreneurial interests and endeavors. A St. Rosalia's graduate, she competed on their celebrated girls basketball team. Tom Monahan employed her as a secretary at his Greenfield Insurance Co., while introducing her to Gene Gorman.

Elaine M. Danscak, age 77, of Liberty Boro, died November 4, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born September 28, 1945, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Emma (Bates) Weller and the wife of Joe Danscak.
Elaine worked for Walmart as a Customer Service Manager. Before that, she worked for McKeesport Hospital. In her free time, Elaine enjoyed playing bingo, watching her favorite TV shows, "The Incredible Dr. Pol" and "The Young and the Restless." and spending quality time with her grandchildren. In her early years, she loved dancing at the Viking Lounge and spending time at the White Oak American Legion.

  Amelia "Millie" Galiyas, 92, of Glassport, died Nov. 7, 2022.  She is the daughter of the late Norbert and Giovina (Gattone) DiLiscia and wife of the late Peter Galiyas.  She is survived by her daughters Gina (Russell) Grice, Mary Jo (Scott) Gacovsky; sons Mark (Loria) Galiyas and Paul (Donna) Galiyas; grandchildren Chris, Carly, Ryan, Jessie, Jordan, Kara and Tessa; great grandchildren Evan, Macie, Sofia, Max, Nico, Arrow, Navy, Acacia, Oliver and Luka; sister Dolores Hutskow; also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Wesley Galiyas and sister Evelyn Wagner.  Millie was a member of St. Joachim and Anne Parish.  Friends received on Thurs. from 2 to 8.  A funeral mass will be held Fri.  10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Church with Father Wagner.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital in Millie's name.

He was born September 19, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of the late Bernard and Katherine Beck Walkowiak. Bernard was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and bingo, He was known as a storyteller and enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee. He was an officer for the Disabled American Veterans and the NOTR Auxiliary Group. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward, a sister Katherine and a granddaughter Amber. He is survived by his beloved wife, Andrea Babyak Walkowiak, two daughters, Rianna Wallace and Jennifer Walkowiak, two sons, Bryan and Stefan, two step-daughters, Gina Groff (Michael), Rebecca Mackey (Steve), a brother Robert (Holly), a sister Pauline Korshiak, 7 grandchildren, Jeff , Drew, Dylan, Joey, Drake, Kaitlyn and Lexi, 3 great grandchildren. Jack W. Leech, 94 of Glassport, formerly of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at his home. He was born in White Oak on June 19th, 1928, to the late Clifford and Zelda Mae (Kraus) Leech. Jack was the loving husband of over 50 years to the late Patricia A. (Leighty) Leech. He is survived by daughters Linda (Edward) Raimondi of Munhall and Kimberly (Tim) Toth of Munhall, as well as sisters Annabelle of Greensburg and Janet Davis of Dravosburg. Further survivors include grandchildren Frankie, Erin, Casey, and Ryan and great-grandchildren Jaiden, Payten, Leo, Briella, Lyndle, and Layton. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by son Leonard David Leech and daughter Lou Ann Leech. He was a member of the Army, having served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the American Legion. Jack was known to work diligently as a contractor and owned his own business for over 70 years. Jack was interested in horse racing, and enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially golf and handball. Arrangements have been entrusted to E.C. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 235 Monongahela Ave, Glassport, PA 15045. Inurnment will occur privately at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. She retired from Allegheny Van Lines, worked at the PIA, was a secretary at the Elks and did catering at the West Mifflin #3 Fire Hall. She was a former member of the Thompson Club, and she enjoyed going out to eat and socializing with her friends. Arlene was the wife of the late David Pauly; mother of Laura (late David) Salopek of North Huntingdon and Richard Kontra; sister of Ted W. (Lenora) Debiak of West Mifflin and Kenneth A. Debiak of Munhall; loving aunt of Elizabeth (Clinton) Hittle of Trout Run, PA and their daughter, Catherine. James W. "Jim" Corbett

James W.  "Jim" Corbett, age 78, of North Versailles, died November 2, 2022, at AHN Forbes Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer.  Born December 16, 1943, in Braddock, he was the son of the late Michael and Virginia (Defibaugh) Corbett and husband and of 56 years to his childhood sweetheart, Laura (Gallagher) Corbett.  Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1967 on the USS Rich as a boiler maker.  After his honorable discharge, he began a career in the Steel Industry, where he worked for 19 years, and ended his career with LTV Steel as a Foreman.  Jim never wanted to retire and was an extremely hard worker, which he continued as an OTR driver for Green Valley Cleaners and finally worked as the caretaker of the North Versailles Community Center throughout his chemotherapy.  Jim was a Volunteer Fireman with the Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department and past Fireman of the Year.  As an avid Pirates and Steelers fan, he was known as an armchair coach.  He enjoyed listening to just about any music and dancing with his wife when they were young.  Jim spent his time bowling in leagues at Great Valley Lanes, playing cards, video games, playing the lottery, playing corn hole, making people laugh, and fishing with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.  He fished many local spots, such as Twin Lakes, Turtle Creek, Renzie Park, Indian Lake, and Keystone Lake.  One of the most important things to Jim was taking care of his family and ensuring they had everything they needed.
