Catherine M. Macey, 87, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Jefferson Hospital surrounded by family. She was born November 27, 1935 in Greensburg and was the daughter to the late Henry V. McKay, Sr., and the late Rose Marie (Gregg) McKay. Catherine is the beloved wife of 67 years to Robert P. Macey of North Huntingdon. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in North Huntingdon, and of the Catholic Daughters and attended The Divine Redeemer Academy of Elizabeth Township. Catherine was an active member of the Christian Mothers, the Elizabeth Township Seniors, and the North Huntingdon AARP, and worked as the district office secretary at the Elizabeth Forward School District. An avid reader, a talented artist and she loved to travel, yet she enjoyed seeing her grandkids and supporting their performances or extracurricular activities the most.

Vincent F. D'Angelo, 88, of North Huntingdon, formerly of North Braddock, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Transitions Health Care Center. Vincent, known as Vinny or Mr. D., was born August 11, 1935 in Braddock, a son of the late James and Angeline D'Angelo, both originally from Palermo, Cicily. Vinny was the youngest of six children, Leo, Josephine, Nick, Tony and Angie. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rose Marie Bozic D'Angelo; children, Kevin (Gina) D'Angelo of Fenwick Island, DE; and Kim (Lou) Nedz of North Huntingdon. Vinny has three wonderful grandchildren, Gabriella D'Angelo of Rockville, MD, Anjelika Nedz of Elizabeth, PA and Joseph Nedz of Blawnox, PA. He has four furry grand animals, Benjamin, Rodi (aka. Kitty), Princess and Sunny. He has 12 nieces and nephews, and 15 great nieces and nephews. Not only did Vinny have a love for his family and pets, he also had a love of cars. He would work on anyone's car if asked. He was right there with his pan of tools. He taught his kids, son-in-law and grandson the basic repairs of cars. He loved playing ball with his kids, their friends and nieces and nephews; football, baseball and basketball. He loved being with his grandchildren and spending time with them. Anytime there was a pick-up game happening either in a family member's yard or on the front street, he was there. He loved being involved in his son Kevin's football games while Kevin was in high school. He was right there on the sidelines with the coaches. He tried to be at all the Semi-Pro football games as well. Vinny was a wonderful husband to Rose (Cookie). He was a great provider too. He loved his family greatly. Vinny was proud to be a Marine and served as a prison guard while in the service. Vinny will be missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be no visitation or service. Lynne A. Bonivich, 74, of Greenock, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was born November 15, 1949 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James "Jim" and Allene (Swartz) Morgan. Lynne worked for many years as a cashier at Schweibel's Bakery in McKeesport. She loved bingo and even had a bag that read "Bingos my game and Mimi is my name". She also enjoyed puzzles, word searches, and playing candy crush on her ipad. Lynne was known as Mimi to her grandchildren and Momma B to many others. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lynne was a people person, with a big heart, but at the same time would tell you how it is. She will be greatly missed.

Carol (Jancef) Rice, 71, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Carol spent the majority of her nursing career in long-term care, loved her dogs and took great pride in her family. Wilma R. Primorich, age 87 of Jefferson Hills and formerly of South Lyon, MI, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in Celebration Villas of South Hills. Born September 3, 1936 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Runatz) Primorich. Wilma retired as a job parts specialist for the Ford Motor Company after 40 years in 1999. In her spare time, she loved to go to auctions and flea markets, listed to her Croatian radio, and go out and treat for dinner with family and friends. She also loved her four siamese cats and will be remembered by her family as warm hearted, conversational, and always easy to make friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Iko, Ante, Mirko, Eneric and Emil Planich, Milan Primorac, and Albert and Nick Primorich. Albert P. Ranalli, Jr., age 96 of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Jefferson Hospital. Born December 19, 1926, he was a son of the late Albert Ranalli, Sr. and Catherine (Macioce) Ranalli. A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish - St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War Era, Albert worked for over 50 years in the meatcutting department at Marraccini's Supermarket in Clairton. He also worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer and at Carmike Theaters as a ticket agent. In his spare time, Albert was an avid tennis player and gardner and a great believer in "common sense." He is survived by his wife Lenore (Nesti) Ranalli; his three sons Larry (Helen) Ranalli, Donald (Christine) Ranalli, and Kenneth Ranalli; his granddaughter Nicole (Matthew) Dalton; his three great-grandchildren Logan, Lucas, and Nadia; his brothers Charles (Sue) Ranalli and Joseph Ranalli; and also nieces and nephews. Paul V. Ballas, 76, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023. Paul was the youngest of five children, born in his childhood home in McKeesport, PA to Michael J. and Mary M. Ballas. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother Daniel M. Ballas and wife Henrietta, his brother Michael P. Ballas, and brother-in–law Charles C. McCutcheon.
He is survived by his wife Jean Nealen Ballas, brother John (Jack) V. Ballas and wife Rita, sister Mary E. McCutcheon, and sister-in-law Norma L. Ballas. Paul will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as the Nealen family.
Paul retired from Purchase Line HS after 35 years of teaching English. Paul was known to many as a friend due to his humorous nature and prolific storytelling, punctuated by his lighthearted demeanor. Ever the cook, Paul was known for his love of grilling and entertaining his family & friends.
He enjoyed all sports, particularly baseball, in which he participated enthusiastically as a player, coach, and fan. He will be remembered as a lover of traveling, beaches, desserts, wine, and the craft beer bottles he collected. NA ZDRAVIE!
