Kathryn Diamond, 88, of Springbrook Township, PA, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022. She was born October 20, 1934 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Richard and Leona (Pencoski) Diamond. Kathryn graduated with her Associates degree from California State College. She worked as a School Nurse for the McKeesport Area School District for many years prior to retirement. She was a long time member of St. Pius V., and eventually became a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi. She is survived by her son-in-law, Archie Parker; granddaughter, Jillian (Jeremy) Wall; and great-grandson, Alexander Wall. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Parker; brothers, James and C. Richard Diamond; and sister, Anna Stolinski. Born in Pittsburgh on August 9, 1979, she is the daughter of Francis and Loretta (Duran) Waskiewicz of West Mifflin. Erika was a graduate of West Mifflin High School class of 1998, worked at All Pro Screening in Hays, was a member of the Riverview Board of Directors, and was committed to her family. She is the loving wife of 22 years of Garret R. Roberts; mother of Jeramy Roberts of West Mifflin and Sierra Roberts of West Mifflin; sister of Erin Ruttenberg of West Mifflin; aunt of Shannon Maxwell and Madison Ruttenberg and great aunt of Neveah McCoy. Frank M. Andrisko, age 62, of Monongahela and formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He was the owner of Andrisko Plumbing & Heating. Born August 3, 1960 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Frank and Ruth Naomi (Lynch) Andrisko. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy (Adams) Andrisko; son, Taylor Andrisko of Carroll Twp.; mother-in-law, Emily Adams of New Eagle; brothers-in-law, Gregg and Sean Adams, both of Finleyville; and an aunt, Phyllis Turner of Elizabeth. Florence Bonadio- Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother

  Florence “Flo” Bonadio of Glassport, passed away peacefully, Thursday December 1, 2022, at the age of 99. Florence was born November 11, 1923 to Mary Mehara and Frank Shadwick. Married October 10, 1942, she joins her husband of 56 years, Natale “Nate” Bonadio, who passed in 1998. She was the dear mother of the late Donna (Dennis) Frattaroli, David (Judi) Bonadio, and Danette (the late Mark) Stasko. She is survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers- Barney and Joe Shadwick, her sisters- Irene Bonadio and many Bonadio in-laws. Flo was a proud member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish in Glassport where she was a dedicated volunteer at various events but really enjoyed working the fish frys. She was formerly employed as a waitress for many years at the Elbow Room in McKeesport. Flo was faith filled and walked to church every day until she was 90. She loved her family and we all knew that when we were in her presence. We will miss her signature red hair, her funny sayings, playing cards with her, her delicious Italian cooking and talking to her about her Bingo nights. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 10 at 9:30 am at St. Joachim and Ann Parish (Queen of the Rosary campus) in Glassport, PA. Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to the people at Jefferson Rehab and Wellness who helped Flo through some difficult years, but especially her hospice nurse, Sherry and aide, Heather, from Caring Hospice, who showered her with compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Flo’s memory to Sts Joachim and Ann Parish, 530 Michigan Ave. Glassport, PA 15045.

"Ken" Kuchma, 80, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022.  He was born February 12, 1942 in West Mifflin and was the son of the late John F. and Margaret (Kapolka) Kuchma.  Ken worked as a fireman for the City of Duquesne for 26 years and then was currently working as a machinist at Dougherty Tool and Dye, in Elizabeth Township for the last 18 years.  He was a very hard worker, who loved his wife and family very much. Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked to watch the Pittsburgh sports teams and his grandchildren's sporting events. He will be greatly missed.

She retired in 2008 as a nurses aid at Southwestern Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Mifflin and was a former bus driver in the Elizabeth Forward School District. Born October 30, 1941 in Belle Vernon, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lenora (Milby) Walt. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Kenneth) Jarmon of Elizabeth Twp., and Christy Jordan of Waco, TX; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Bell of Perryopolis; long-time friend, Walter M. Jory; also, a nephew and two nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by beloved son, Craig S. Krepps, and sister, Beverly J. Pierce. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Baier, age 64 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital.  Born June 8, 1958 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Ann (Pitassi) Baier of Shaler and the late Frederick Baier.  A member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton and a recently retired Land Administrator for Acosta Sales and Marketing, David was a music lover who DJ'ed in his younger days; a karate instructor in his even younger days, and maintained a knack for computers and tech savvy throughout his lifeitme.  Most importantly, in his retirement cut too short, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.  David is survived by his wife of 39 years Jane Marie (Prosperino) Baier; his children Lisa (Kevin Bickerton) Baier of Clairton and David Baier of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren Kai, Antonio, Jonah, and Emma; his sisters Jeannine (Frank) Konzier of Shaler and Suzanna (Bill) O'Mullen of Philadelphia; and also nieces and nephews.  Besides his father, David was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Baier.

Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Smith, 44, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  Jeff was born September 27, 1978 in McKeesport and was the son of David R. “Dave” and Maureen (Holko) Smith of Elizabeth Twp.  Jeff was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics from Penn State University. He had also worked in sales at Barnes and Noble.  He had a deep love of history, which carried throughout his life. Jeff was a devoted Pittsburgh Pirates fan and was well known for his ability to recite baseball statistics to any inquiring mind at a drop of a hat.  He loved the outdoors; especially downhill and cross-country skiing, kayaking and hiking.  His family meant the world to him and he loved gathering together for the holidays.  He will be remembered fondly for his joyous laugh, his caring heart, intelligent mind, and for his ability to recite every great line from Beverly Hills Cop.

Anna Yuhasz Nee, 101, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Juniper Village, Forest Hills, PA.  She was born December 3, 1920 in Glen Jean, WV, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Kish) Yuhasz.  Prior to her retirement, Anna was a bank teller for Mellon Bank and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, James Nee; brother Julius Yuhasz; sisters, Margaret Petruska and Rose Whittinghill; and much loved and special  niece, Margaret Ann Zeher.  She is survived by her nieces, Rosalie Vojtas, Kathleen Sczepanski and Teresa (Ted) Jacob; numerous great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the James W. David Edward Fillo, age 66, died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on November 30, 2022. He is the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Scheller) Fillo; beloved husband of Sue Rudolph Hannegan Fillo; and step father to James Hannegan. He is also survived by his sister Lori (Jujie) Stojakovich. Nephews and nieces Sam, John, Stacey Smerkol and Justin and Layla Stojakovich. Greats Hayden and Danica. He was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Smerkol, and many other family and friends that were there to greet him. David was a hard worker having his first job at 15 washing dishes at “The Duke”. He had many jobs before working at GM’s Fisher Body Plant, his first retirement. He went on to work at and retire from JMD and O’ Reilly’s Auto Part. David loved his dog Bear, hot rods, classic cars, the Steelers, and he was a diehard Pirates fan. Friends received Tuesday 10:00-11:30am at the Teichart Gracan Funeral home, at which time a funeral blessing will be held with Father Tom Lewandowski. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral costs.
